(Solved)Sbi transaction query- suspected transaction
Seems it’s for a transaction my dad tried back in march. So I think nothing wrong here.

I just saw statement of my dad’s sbi account and there’s one transaction titled as :
INSUF BAL ATM DECLINE CHARGE – 110220
and a amount of ₹23.6 is debited for that.
I asked my dad he said he didn’t used his atm neither on the mentioned date nor even anywhere close to that date.
What’s that transaction is for?? Is someone tried to withdraw money from my dad’s account???

He don’t use his atm much. I do the transactions mostly.
Don’t remember any atm-otp based transaction but might have done. Do they charge for that???
It happens when you try to withdraw more than available balance.

i think no penalty(not sure though) for online txn. if exceeded balance amt.
may be u tried in ATM to withdraw and now u forgot

The deduction is on 13th May and there’s no atm withdrawal from atleast 1.5 month.
Btw it is not big balance also i don’t think any suspicious issue. If u still tensed u can contact SBI care

SBI usually charges the penalty amount little late. I suppose the number in bold is most likely the date on which it happened. 11th Feb 2020?
