Sell Old Phones directly to Quikr rather than Exchanging ( Mostly u get an amazing Resale Value )

This is an informative thread for selling ur phone to Quickr Company (under QuickrX guranteed purchase programme) rather than going for their exchange scheme or posting an ad on either olx/quickr inviting bids from local buyers .

This method has been personally tested by me and is a pilot project by the company

First Question why to sell phone directly to Quickr company rather than to some local buyers on Olx/Quickr

1)More often than not Quickr is providing an amazing resale value for the old phones . A 1.5 year old used Nexus 5 16GB black fetched me rs 9042 +250 paytm cash . Market rate is somewhere near 6 k to 7 k considering the plethora of devices on the market and the way cheap chinese brandsare flooding the country . Also the reglobe exchange part of amazon snapdeal provides merely 5600 that too for exchange

2) Quickr doesnt ask for anything apart from the phone and battery . Even charger is optional . So even though ur phone doesnt have a box, earphones and even no bill still it can be sold on Quickr platform

3) U dont have to hassle with the buyers and neither do u have to step out of your home . Even money is promptly credited to your bank account so no troubles . I refrained from posting the same earlier since i was awaiting my money before referring it to the community of dimers .

Also credits to @viSH bro for the quickr scanner app which is why i could finally find this option of only selling and increasing my resale value

Now how the process works

1) Firstly check whether quickr has a resale value for ur device . Open any product link in this url http://mumbai.quikr.com/QuikrX/Exchange-Mobile-... and check the exchange value . This value will increase after u run the quickrscanner app in 2nd step. ( In my case it increased from 7500 to 9000 for the same device after running quickr scanner app )

(Step 1 is for just knowing the approximate value of ur device. Then download the app app fro play store and proceed with the steps .U will see sell option for sure )

No app for windows phone devices and no app for ios ( yet to be validated )

3) Open it and it will prompt do you have an OTP for QuickrScanner click No . Now let quickr scanner app complete all the 20 tests. Do every test and if everything works perfectly ur device will get a score of 100/100 . A score of 70 and above gurantee a higher value .

3) Click Sell this phone through Quickr ( Quickr Guranteed Purchase )

4) It will prompt you to enter phone model and city .U will see the resale value for your desired phone now. On next page enter contact details and ur address

5) Ur order is placed and u will be given a Ref Id which u should note down . Immediately u will get a call for quickr cc asking u to confirm the order and the appointment time for inspection of phone . He will also give u a mail where u have to enter ur bank details and get it updated in their system

6) On the selected day either a QuickrX Representative / or a third party Inspection Team ( in my case from parcelled.in ) will come to your doorstep to collect the phone. First they run the Quickr Scanner Test Again and then a test from some Scanner app from parcelled.in . After these 2 tests they verify the screen display . If there is no Yellow ting or dead pixels in display and then will continue with the external checking of the device for damages/dents. Do note that this process is quite stringent and they look in detail at scratches . I had 2 really small cracks and they ignored the same but if they are large enough or the paint is faded or too many scraches the chances of rejection is high

7) Once all tests are done the phone is picked up packed properly and then it was shipped to the Quickr Mumbai Office . There was no confirmation apart from a sms message regarding the phone pickup

8) U can track the package on the logistics provider url and once it reaches the quickr office ur payment will be processed within 72 working hours .
