My hobby is to help needy one.. And to make Others smile.. As we are son and daughter from first person on earth… So we are brothers and we should help others no matter what happened..

My childhood hobbies were solving puzzles and Maths problems. I enjoy solving logical puzzles. Now days my new hobbies are reading some technology stuff and learning new things and reading intresting stuff in Quora and last but not the least finding and sharing good deals with all my dimer friends in Desidime.

I would like to participate but hopefully to avoid spammers ur avoiding new comers anyhows good work missed it

I like bird watching and fishing… hobbies that had been taught to me by both my grandpas.
Even tho It’s been more than 5 years since they passed away, I still continue to do these favourite hobbies of mine whenever I get some holiday ☺

I also like to do farming and help out in my relative’s farm whenever I visit them. It works as exercise, stress relief and free organic food to eat 😅

My hobby is Tech. I love new technologies and gadgets. I read blogs and whatch youtube videos of almost every creator in this genre.

Most of the time I will be found surfing through sites like gsmarena, xdadevelopers etc.

This became my hobbie at the age of 15 when I started using a MP4 player and now almost 25 hrs I spend with my laptop, smartphone, wearables etc.

I am a CS graduate working in IT industry loving all these stuffs. If u love gadgets and tech u will get to learn new technologies and enjoy the advancement in this world.

As a kid, I was an avid reader but from Std 12, everything changed.
I am a simple student doing my masters in economics and doing a part time sales job currently.
My home condition isnt good and all of my so called family hates me. My mom (I think I was adopted) even tells to die since I was a kid! 😅
My elder siblings were more brilliant students and thus now have become doctors and engineers and thus snubbed at me every chance they get 😩
Somehow God only made me the average one and even didnt get good looks either.
I’m trying my hardest to get a job but being a general student and that too average. But I hope to get a job and get away from my toxic family life soon.
I get depression and all but desidime is a nice site to timepass and forget my worries for awhile.
Thanks for making this site, its better than facebook ansd instagram.

My favourite hobby is history and increase my knowledge. Read, watch and learn about mythology, history of India, know about past events, history of human, animals , countries, science, sports and this list never end. I like to now about what has done in past. It increases my knowledge and I likes to share it.
We learn from our and other history. We take a lesson from past mistakes and should try to avoid that in future.
If our knowledge of history and past is good then we can analyse and make our future bright. It minimises the chance of errors.
By this hobby I spend some times with elders and talk them that makes them happy also. Money can be ended by knowledge never end. So at every day and every step I am trying to increase my knowledge.

Tried to learn what a hobby was around 3 by trying to drive uncles car. Who discovered me trying to start his car and gave me good trashing.. Got angry and threw the ganja he had on the table on the floor..HA good luck find that piece of turd again.

Got into electronics around 6, fascinated by solar energy.. Soon found out how expensive it was and started dismantling everything and finding no one being home when ever I went to the neighbors..Lacking good gadjects to disassemble decided to save up for a bike instead.. Ended up as a bicycle being too slow, so got a motor bike and ended up getting ever bigger bikes every month and ended up with one bigger than what the police used so they started to gave me more than 20 speeding tickets in a few months many of which were driving in 1st gear, excuses like but this is the slowest speed the bike travels met me, tell it to the judge.. So decided had to get busy with life and a hobby wont bring in the money..

Went to college where I learnt that electronics was tougher than it looked.. With bleeding hands and smoked finger nails, decided to maybe do something less dangerous and physically exerting maybe like programming.. Seeing how most of it required me to build something electronic to get it working anyway.. So all of it never got wasted and came in handy..

So now working on a project to transfer consciousness to electronic digital format so I can live forever and mostly just to haunt all the people for ever who ever gave me grief in life and down voting my posts.

My Hobbies :
1. Looking at people how they are behaving. Like how they talk, act, emotion, driving, scolding…whatever it is i observe each and everything.
2. Watching movies (any language).I watch movies to see how they directed, acted,narrated,camera movements..etc.Everything behind and the visual.
3. There are so many secrets about the world/universe which we don’t know.I get very less time to explore on this topic.
you tube,tictoc,jog,chess….etc so many are there but they are very common i guess…

I still remember that when I was just 3 years old I generally liked to spend my spare time in my green garden. I like very much to be with my father in the garden everyday in the early morning. When I was kid, my father generally laughed at me while seeing watering plants. But now he becomes so proud of me that I do something to save plants life and understand their value and importance in the existence of life on the earth.

Hobbies are our daily lives activities which we must do. It helps us to get escaped from the daily crush of life. It gives us immense pleasure and peace of body, mind and soul. It is like yoga and meditation and even benefits more than that. It draws our mind towards creativity and promote us to do something better in the life. Good hobbies dramatically improve our personality and character traits as well as improve our performances. It helps in discovering our talents and abilities and uses them in right direction. Our hobbies make our mind fresh and peaceful by keeping us away from the daily rush of life.

My favorite hobby is gardening and l like so much planting new plants and watering them in daily morning. The enjoy seeing flowers blooming and plants growing. I really feel sense of great achievements and realize the fact of life. It helps me keep myself fit, healthy, strong and rejuvenate. Watering plants and gardening on daily basis is a best exercise for me which positively moulds my mind and body.

Hello everyone! This is really an interesting idea to know about each other a bit more than just deals share. I’d like to thank @Tejaa bro for this wonderful idea (surely the giveaway part makes it sweeter, from a dimer’s perspective, and you know it well ) and rest of the participants for their valuable contributions.

To start with mine, I’m really a nerdy geek who has got hobby stuffs at the backseat. My hobbies are really the passion(s) of my life and I choose to do them right away. For all the typical hobbies I’ve grown up with, a few I am following religiously:

1. Techy Geek
2. Plants
3. Photography
4. Travel
5. Food (cooking)

I always had a knack with techs, that made my nose poked in all techy affairs from pre computer era till now. I just can’t help trying my hands with the next gadget I see around me. Learned the planting stuff from spending my childhood times with grannies, trying to spend some lonely times with plants since then, whenever I get some time. 1/2

hobbies are the driving force for me, without them i would be incomplete. My hobby is changing hobbies its a little weird but i love experimenting with my interests, i usually get bored out of any hobby so my stack is a lot bigger than even i can imagine. the only constant thing i like is roaming around and spend time with myself in a cool weather.

In my college days, got infected with xbhp fever and travelled a lot through the terrains and planes with my photographer friend who taught me skills to work with different cams from flash ones to DSLRs.. the angles, light, panorama and how to capture the time lapse glimpses of sunrise and sunsets. Ah! Those memories were really awesome and I remember trying to get better snap everytime I see a good frame, whether in cool sunshine or drizzling rain/ thunder or a freezing winter icing around. Now I go mad behind it occasionally. In all our journey, food was the partner in crime, love to hunt for the best food around the place we visit. In the meanwhile, life became odd and hostel life was gone and at that time tried my hands with cooking at home. The first food I made on my own was ande ki bhurji and my velle friends found them awesome. Lol.. That started my journey with the hidden chef within me and now I can cook various Indian and continental dishes that has been applauded by my friends and colleagues. Kept on visiting places/ people with different food habits since then.

Skipped the boring movie/music part that once used to eat a lot of my daily  schedule. Sony Walkman was my first best friend though. I remember keeping same cassettes in it for weeks. Still cant live without music. Now looking forward to develop some skills in writing and various money making habits. Seeking your cooperation in this reagrd too.

Have been following this forum for years and have seen lot of people getting benefited out of this wonderful helping community that makes it more of a hobby than anything. It is impressive to read such wonderful and impactful hobbies from everyone. We truly have a good community here.

Although my job does not leave me with much time, but there are some things that I still follow as routine. One of these things (which I call a hobby) is healthy eating. I was diagnosed with some digestive and intestinal issues few years back which forced me to completely cut off refined wheat, spicy and chilly food. Hence I try to eat fruits, vegetables, less salt and more organic food items. It is a challenge sometimes but I have learned to pack apples and brown-rice snacks when I go for official trips. In today’s world full of diseases, pollution and what not, I would advise all of you to start at least some bit of healthy eating habit (let me know if you need any help). Your body will thank you 10 years later!

Another non-health related hobby that I have is listening to music. I am told that when I was little (less than 5 years old), I used to wake up and jump on the bed at the slightest sound of music. As I grew up, I felt some rush whenever I heard good music (Backstreet Boys, Bryan Adams). I still feel that. So whenever I am stressed, I close my eyes and let my favourite music drift me away into a dream world. I also experimented with creating music and have a rookie YouTube channel but I will talk about that sometime later. This brings me to my second advice which is always have something which de-stresses you. This could be anything – music / cooking / exercise / sleeping. It will keep you going every single day.

I like travelling and discovering the atmosphere, culture, tradition and lifestyle of persons/inhabitants living in different places, states or countries.
I enjoy a lot in interacting with strangers to know about their journey, culture and experience.
I am amazed to see that how our country which is so diversed and has people speaking different languages, following different traditions and religions, is connected and its people living together peacefully.
I am also curious to find out what techniques are used by different animals to survive in the forest or jungle where they have a fear of life from their predators.
These things help me in understanding the values and purpose of my life.

Another thing which I enjoy a lot is voice-overing. Voice-over is the background voice which you hear when someone narrates (story/document) in the film or any broadcast episode. One who do voice-over is called voice-over artist.
Hollywood movies dubbed into Hindi or other languages require different voice-over artists for different characters.
Voice-over artists make indirect connection with the audience.
The voice of Bigg Boss which you hear in Bigg Boss itself has been voice-overed by someone.
I often mute the audio of a film or episode where subtitle is mentioned and voice-over the subtitle in my way.
I have fun voice-overing Marvel’s characters especially Thanos’ voice which requires strong and heavy voice and I feel like having his special super powers.
Getting into different characters and voice-overing different voices make me feel excited, relaxed and anxiety-free.

The hobbies keep me motivated, energised and refreshed and they help me in discovering my inner peace and satisfaction.

i cant’s state them as a hobby but i can list them on the ways that i can pass my time easily with, started with fiddling around electronics when i was a kid, broke may things for that, once a fully working video game set, and then nobody could save me from the wrath of my mom. Same with a small TV (3-4 inch one), CD player, used HDD, also got minor electrocution few times bcoz of this so then i stuck with low voltage equipment fiddling.

When i came to know about the complications of all electronics when i was engineering then i tried my level best but that wasn’t somewhat my cup of tea, adding to that the lower cgpa i had, and most good electronics company required higher ones.

Now that i’m in IT, which gives me very less time for myself, i am just confined to cycling on weekends (although i try that i take up it on weekdays as well), reading whatever i can (limited to things which might be of interest to me), music and tv-series and then reading upon specific characters is also one.
Adventure and healthy living is something i try to follow, but miserably fail every other month.

just a story from part of my childhood life, so further reading is not a necessity

I used to power an assembled radio that i had using a used mobile battery that i had got from a frnd, one eve i was just thinking that heat is actually the cause of power for solar energy, so i used to hold that battery just above a heated wick lamp to heat it and then it would work for me for 10-15 mins, this worked for me for 2-3 days as electricity was available for me for most of the time and i used the radio battery whenever electricity wasn’t there (daily about 1 hrs max in eve).
After 2-3 days, with the same setup, i was heating the battery (in-spite of warning being mentioned that battery might explore when thrown directly into fire , but i used to heat it by radiation, kept it neat to lamp, a few cms far), and it actually exploded at that time, i was the one only in the room around and my mom was on terrace, it was a very loud noise like a Tyre burst and mom and neighbors came as soon as it happened. The room was filled with smoke of the battery, and the glass-wick lamp had broke and pieces were scattered here and there, and i had no answer to give to mom as to what actually had happened.
But this time surprisingly she was very calm and no wrath or what so ever, and she told me to just be careful from now.
After this incident, i tried always to take safety measure, even got a small fire extinguisher by saving pocket money. Fortunately, nothing like this never happened and there was no-need to use it ever.

Favorite hobby? I scourge the internet for knowledge. Good, dirty, anything interesting comes up, I go for it .
I am an avid lover of music. 🙂 I don’t have a particularly favourite band though. I love anything that catches my attention. I always try to discover new music all the time. 🙂 When I couldn’t sleep during my childhood, my parents would play songs from Saajan movie and I would sleep peacefully.
I am an avid reader too. I read a lot of Blogs, books, magzter magazines. I have this habit since I was a kid. I used to read Chandamama, Manorama.
I write things. I maintain a diary. 🙂
