Well, I guess there are certain products which cannot be banned like mobile phone accessories, Displays, Touch.Indian govt by not allowing these products in India is making it more expensive. Today I went to electronics market and i was surprise to see that a Samsung Galaxy S4 display assemble is being charged at 5500/- whereas it was 2500-3000 a month back. These products are not being manufactured anywhere in india. And china is having balls to manufacture it as their government is doing everything in their power by financial means, bank loans, tax free benefits etc etc. But in India, to make a manufacturing hub, the government should be supporting enough. and now a days i see that Govt. is executing Income Tax Raids everywhere and Our beloved finance minister says in press that according to some supreme court ruling, defaming govt duties is a crime and it will attract penal action. So I dont think banning chinese products will help much. The reason behind banning chinese product is that they are playing around our defence system but who is benefited ultimately ? the government and we following to buy the indian products where the tax rates are so high that it will ofcourse be a loss for a smart purchaser. Today for every 1000 rupees, we are paying 637 rupees as taxes (income tax, VAT, service tax, swachh bharat cess, KK cess etc etc etc) and remaining 463 rupees comes in handy. How is this justifiable ? Govt. is being benefitted in so many ways but we have to suffer in the end. People like Vijay mallya are roaming free around the globe, there is lakhs of crores of black money in swiss bank, but who talks about that. Our beloved PM Modi promised to bring back the black money to India. But their approach was different all they meant to say that they are going to bring that black money from india, from our own pockets and not from the politicians accounts in swiss banks. Such a disgraceful thing and the govt. still expects to ban products from china. First Govt. should tell how will it benefit indian citizens in return? will the govt. reduce the rates of fuels, reduce tax rates, reduce cess ? no they wont. But still you insists on banning chinese products. How the hell ?

On a larger canvass if we wish to improve our current state of lifestyle we need to overlook petty profits and aim for a long term profit.

Chinese products arent bad.But their shelf life and quality is limited.If we support Chinese products,The money is going to go to China and ultimately to support Pak which is everready to attack is Indians.
So we are responsible for our actions.
Needless to elaborate other side effects.

Though you see the larger canvass, you don’t see the other side of it. The problem lies with the very economic policy we have, not just in importing Chinese goods. This is the power of social media, if something is made viral, people start believing it without any questions. We stop using Chinese items, market down, importers stop importing, Chinese economy down, Pak not getting support, lol, it’s all like writing on water.
We don’t want to see the real picture because we ourselves are the criminals in it. This consumerist, market-based economy… how long do you think we can sustain it? At the cost of what? Our population is only on the rise. We are literally committing a mass suicide but we don’t want to wake up. It’s because those in power keep us sedated with the ideas of development and entertainment. This country is nothing different from a Jonestown. Fcuk!

The problem with Indian democracy is the educated don’t vote and post ‘I condemn this and that’ on FB and Whatsapp. The illiterate vote from whom they get most benefit(whether a bottle of ‘desi’ or one who promises benefits for their own ‘caste’).
But then when I say ‘educated’ they are more appropriately ‘literate’ not ‘educated’. HUGE difference. Politicians know this since advent of time and have been exploiting the same. Take Bihar’s example. BJP kept wooing the urban population and Lalu and clan paid the rural for votes, majority votes win. End of Story. Jai ho democracy.
Chinese products are not bad. They have facilities to produce according to ‘your’ budget. If you buy cheap you get cheap. If you stop buying from China where would to cater the needs of the population? First make your own factories and then you can impose anti-dumping duty on their product.

90% of the products in U.S and scandinavian countries are made in china. Apple iphone is made in china. Its not like their products are not durable. They have quality products. But the importers here demand cheaper products and they manufacture those low quality products as per our needs.Now lets come to their government and ours. Do you know how they manufacture products in such a large scale. ? because the public over there enjoy so many facilities by the government. One of the important aspect is transportation. Lets say in India, there are couple of good workers in gujarat and would like to work for a company situated in mumbai. So journey from ahmedabad to mumbai is about 6 hrs in duronto.Its not possible to make up-down travel in day to day basis due to long journey. So they have to rent a room in mumbai and then work in mumbai for which they have their additional expense as rent, food living in mumbai.Now lets assume that we have chinese bullet trains instead, what will happen in this case is that workers can cover a journey from mumbai to ahmedabad in max 2 hours.by this they dont need to make any extra expenses like renting a room in mumbai etc etc. At the end of the day they are back to their hometowm and can work easily.
This is how government and its infrastructure plays a vital role in uplifting of our country. So at the outset i dont think that banning chinese product is an option. Well in near future if govt. provides such facilities then chinese products will be banned defaultly.
