But,
For your dad, I’ll suggest Moto Z Play. Google will give the Android O as well (hopefully) and the battery life is great. Even fast charging is there I guess (not as fast as Op3 though)

oneplus 3 is an overkill for basic usage.

As I always say avoid Lenovo and micromax etc at all costs. They would offer plethora of features to lure in the customers(Indians specially) coupled with lucrative pricing but at the end the customer will bleed or worse lose all his money.
