Yesterday i had ordered woohoo gift card..and today received a call from 9199768329 stating that he is from snapdeal and i got bumper offer…bla..bla..bla
if you had faced the same incident please comment.
we should complain against snapdeal for leaking customer information.
As many of us on desidime facing this problem..think how big it will be
complain on twitter,facebook,playstore…tag news channel’s also

Bhai mujhe bhi…kal mene bhi Woohoo kharida and got the call and sms for safari or cash. And the same guy called me last month or so and was giving me some SUV harrier or something or cash. I told him to look for another job, don’t work for scammers. These people are calling from Kolkata but told calling me from Jharkhand and snapdeal is based in Kolkata. These scammers have no limit to lies & foolishness. Data is taken somehow, maybe through seller or delivery chain. I got the same call when made a purchase of AC from Flipkart in summer, the very next day of purchase (when my AC was still in transit). Innocent and unaware people fall prey to these sort of data convinced talk.

In case of major violations such as data processed or shared without consent, there will be a penalty of ₹15 crore or 4% of global turnover, the official said. Besides, there is also a jail term for any violation.
In the terms and conditions somewhere they mentioned, while signup/ transaction we simply accept and proceed. Without that we can not proceed further by knowingly aswell for the greed we accept terms some times.
Most of the times receive market reserch unable to get rid of that.
In this snapdeal/swych/GCI someone is surely selling the data.

You get Fraud Calls if you order from them !
I have a suggestion:
You all start calling back on 9199768329 and tell that scammer that you are from CBI and you want his address. Also send him SMS.
Yesterday I got a call from same number he was speaking some language which I don’t understand. I don’t know Hindi also.
I asked him to speak in English he said ok and started to speak in same language.
So I said I don’t understand what u speak and he disconnected call. Must be the same scamming team
Most likely it is the sellers who leak this info. for money. After all they get RMN with every order.
Snapdeal is main culprit probably.
Same call after buying snapdeal swych code . “Sir aapne snaapdil se sodeso voucher purchase kiya thaa kaal” . I told him “Tata safari nahi chahiye Bhai” . Cut the call . He never called back
I spoke with gci girl. She is saying she received more than 10calls today.
She was speaking and explaining everything clearly.❣️❣️
As per her statement order worth rs8-9Lakh was placed on 19th Dec.(I have also ordered 10k)
She clearly says once Snapdeal shares coupon codes and payment they will dispatch in 1-2days.30/31st Dec as per her .
They have already informed Snapdeal to mention it in their website as well. They are doing this purposefully to get lots of money for 7-8days. Snapdeal will pay gci after 7days and gci will process dispatch in 1-2days.

Just got the Tata safari call from 7462990511…I request dimers to bomb sms on this number…I told him I want Kia seltos…
Now got a message also in the name of spamdeal

Snapdeal company ki taraf se prize k nam par agar apne koi v payment deposit kiya hai ya krne se pehle hamare senior manager ko complain kren -9709224394

I too get many SMS and calls supposedly from Snapdeal as I’ve won a car, but they always speak in Hindi and I always speak in any one of the local language, then after a couple of exchanges they cut the call. Looks like they’re going to give the car winner the car only if he speaks Hindi.
