Snapdeal refunded money to my credit card
I know there are threads where we are already discussing this but still the main subject and the content of the post is different.
Anyways, I ordered wohoo card @10% discount in snapdeal, bought Amazon gift card, ordered items at Amazon and its delivered.
Snapdeal at the atrocity refunded my money to my credit card.
Ha Ha lol why we need to transfer it to their bank account.

they cant Enjoy, once i brought TV from Zooper, but by mistake executive cancelled the order, they refunded me 38K.. again they reversed after 7 days…
ask snapdeal to generate an invoice in their website for your account. then you can pay that. this should not be hard for a tech company than pleading customers.

So should we still transfer the amount? I did not get any such emails and im gonna ignore unless and until they put it on snapdeal.
For my friend, Amazon had refundes twice for cancelled order 8 months back. Now Amzon has charged the credit card, that too the credit card account was closed few months back. Now the bank has sent credit card bill and asking for payment withh due date as “immediate”.
In this case better not to transfer money to snapdeal . Because their may be chance of charge back again. So their may be chance to charge twice if we transfer now.
After that snapdeal will not help us also . they will take months to investigate again

Received call today. The executive was threatening me for Legal Action. He I clearly told him that i am ready to refund by legal mode but not through this NEFT mode but he was adamant. I told him that he can do whatever he wants to.

You did the right thing. It’s their mistake and people are still graciously willing to refund the money. But refunding via NEFT is neither acceptable on common-sense grounds nor from financial accounting perspectives. They should either create a dummy product clearly mentioning “Recollecting Funds for Inadvertent Refunds” and ask people to pay back that way or they should create a dedicated page (like their donations page) depending on the scale of such transactions.
In the future, they can indeed put a charge again on the originally used credit card as they use their own payment gateway AFAIK. CC @enapster @vishalverma

I clearly told them in email yesterday that. You are eligible for a refund from my side for your stupid mistake.
But the payment will be from same credit card. Not from any other card nor from any bank account. Being such a large marketplace having think tank and work force with you, it’s your duty to find a way out how to charge back the same credit card, if they are ready I am ready to give them written authorisation to charge my credit card.
These all only because I firmly do not believe in transferring money to their account with which I do not have any dealing in past…

Its confirmed that the shared account details belongs to Snapdeal (registered with the name " Jasper Infotech Pvt. Ltd"), So to avoid further follow up from them transferred refund amount of Rs. 6.75K (purchased worth Rs.7.5K GV).
WTF! I’m sending you my bank details now. Send me 75K to avoid any further follow up.

I said charge it back from CC. He said it’s not possible.
Okay then, generate a link through which we can pay using CC. He said it’s not possible either.
I won’t pay via NetBanking. He said add money to your Paytm wallet, send it to your account and pay from there. (What a smartass they are!)
I asked how they would account it as sales if done this way. He said we are sending you mail for proof blah, blah. I asked how they would account it as sales in their ledger. No proper answer. Then he started singing… You are a loyal customer, we don’t want to drag you into legal proceedings blah blah and also you won’t be able to do any more business with us.
I lost my cool and said I had paid even before the product was delivered and so how could he say that about me. He said you are not ready to pay now. That’s it. I said talk to my bank and do whatever you can. Bye.
