I have a 900VA Luminous Zelio Inverter.
Battery is 150Ah Amaron Tubular one.

Am thinking to buy a solar conversion kit to save some electricity.
Luminous Retrofit 2520 seems good (https://www.amazon.in/Luminous-Shine-Retrofit-S...)
Loom Solar 180 Watt Mono Crystalline Panel (Pack of 2) (https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07JD...D/)

But the major doubt I have is , if i fit this conversion kit, during daytime, if the battery is fully charged, will the retrofit automatically cuts the electricity from the distribution company and feeds only solar power to the inverter line connected appliances? Do we need to do any configurations?

Any dimers using these type of kits?
Anyone have a rough idea?

Isn’t it better to replace the old invertor with a new one which supports solar charging? You can sell the existing one to recover some money.

Why when there is a solar conversion kit available like Luminous Retrofit 2520 which can be bought for 2500/-?
Should this serve the purpose of buying a solar converter?

From my initial post in this thread:

But the major doubt I have is , if i fit this conversion kit(Luminous Retrofit 2520), during daytime, if the battery is fully charged, will the retrofit automatically cuts the electricity from the distribution company and feeds only solar power to the inverter line connected appliances? What if the load connected in the inverter line is more than the load supplied by the solar panel? Do we need to do any configurations?

Lemme explain you… clearly the whole process in simple language..

In off grid if you are using suppose 3KW solar panels and 4 batteries then what will happen is during suntime…. The energy from solar panels will be used for your house load and charge battries too…. when batteries get full it will autocut charging…

Now after sunset…. The houseload will  take energy from batteries and after battries get down it will automatically take energy from your electricity supplier ( state electricity board or private whatever the case is )

What if the load connected in the inverter line is more than the load supplied by the solar panel?
Ans – Actually thing is solar panels battries and retrofit are installed according to your houseload only.
.. A perfect combination is installed which defines the wattage fd panels   retrofit and no of battries for efficient use of solar energy…

Understood the 3KW panel stuff..
What i am looking for is a smaller solution which nobody, no website, no sellers give answer which is really pity….
Lacs of people have this doubt but nobody cares to answer it in a simple way..

i will be having 360 watts panel only and a luminous retrofit 2520 to convert my normal inverter to solar inverter.
Lets assume the battery is fully charged.
Sun comes around 6:30AM, and currently the inverter connected line is having a load of 200watts.Lets assume the solar panel is producing 200watts. Will the retrofit serves this 200watts load from solar panel or from the electricity distribution system? Will it do automatically?

3 KW is example  bro… uh can take the same for 500 watt only or any lower amount….. and yes retrofit will shift the energy source automatically…. if 200 watt required and 200 watt is produced… it will be taken from solar panel only not from grid..

I dont think lacs people are having any doubt like this…just a simple question and anyone can clear it offline from any dealer….

And if we talk abt solar alrdy when we had installed many in small towm and villages where people want only a light and fan to be on solar power…

And for bettr quries you can call me bro i will pm uh the number….. or uh can talk to my father if further required …
