my friend bought xperia m dual from snapdeal from sbi c.c but when he received ph after 1 day it doesn’t charge after 87% (showed fully charged) after unplug from charger he again charge then it was charging again.
now he wants to refund his ph. because sony cust. care said we don’t give any warranty in online shopping of phones except amzon and croma.
now what he will be do ?

Sony has hurted the sentiments of a dimer,lets Fuck sony !! Will teach sony a lesson
but they are saying they are giving warranty on local store purchase phones of sony.
my friend buy xperia m dual 11,321 rs. from snapdeal + 10% cashback from S.B.I( on 20th july)
means it cost him 10,321 rs. but no warranty for 1 year.:-{
Don’t mention that it was purchased online. The VAT bill that you received with the phone will be from one of the affiliated merchant stores and not from Snapdeal. If the store is in a different city, just say that you bought the phone on a trip/vacation.

i had also purchased the same mobile from shopclues and volume key was not working properly after 1 month
but they considered printout of shopclues order detail and repaired my cell in 4 days

Recently showed my Amazon bill of Nokia lumia 520 and it was accepted ,Bro i think that service center is cheating u ,Tell him to give in written or record his video saying so asking his permission,i guarantee U he will immediately accept it !!!
Happens,when i gt my samsung laptop’s battery replaced i asked him top open seal in front of me bcz i dnt trust these guys !!
I bought my phone from Indiatimes and I have successfully availed the warranty twice without any hassle.
Where are you from? Is there any other service center in your city? If yes, then try your luck over there.
Else just call up their toll free number and tell them about your situation. The representatives are super friendly and helpful. Good Luck!:-}
If you have a VAT paid bill, service centre cant’ deny service… Moreover if you have received a company sealed product, it’s more of Company’s responsibility than snapdeal or any other store’s. Dimers correct me if I’m wrong….

You are right. Only thing is you have to go to consumer court and get an order
These high headed manufacturers have their head up their a$$e$. We have to beat some sense into them by boycotting their brand that’s all. If DD opens a thread saying boycott the brands which don’t give warranty for online purchases, then see how they’ll wiggle their tails and come behind us offering everything we want.

& the rest of the public should stop buying Sony phones
