Stop buying Chinese manufactured products - as a way to protest - on how China has treated India and China also supporting and funding Pak

I mean, if we get a better or even an equally good product made in India, we will certainly say goodbye to China. Isn’t that better than writing on Facebook or WhatsApp?

yes thats the problem bcoz -
we cant stop import or impose heavy duty – reason is WTO and LPG policy
indians cant bycott ‘made in china’ concept completely – reason every items has something made in china
Importers can not stop importing – reason is high demand extra profit
companies cant avoid to use them – reason cheaper cost

so only thing -

without compromising quality so much – prefer indian brands , then do prefer other nation brand , avoid brand which is from china (completely made in china+china company) . and all this depend on our will power so to make it easy if not electronics then avoid at least those shit toys made of harmful chemicals + crackers (china made) etc . these small things which we have many options to choose .

permanent solution is – we the people and govt have to make our nation strong and to support make in india campaign in real world . let other nations to take interest in indian market so that we get enough funding for the same and to take place of china in coming future .

yes till yet this is not doing well , pm launched this plan with much expectation but finance ministry not giving proper attention to 2 plans – startup india and make in india , if those given full care then they can yield results in future but yet no proper steps taken .

1. Each Dimer should selectively prejudice or avoid made in China/PRC products – atleast for sometime… forget about that so the Chinese phones ,ELECTRONIC GADGETS.. dont buy it now , DELAY YOUR PURCHASE… OR BUY A DIFFERENT MAKE / MADE IN AMERICA
postpone buying the Chinese goods for next three months.. until China gets the message. [ Collective effort shows some ripples ]

2. Big shots like Amazon India , Flipkart , Snapdeal… should start separate Category and promote “Made in India” products.
They are in India – and they should do something to promote Indian products… , now , they are promoting Chinese products only

3. We Dimers , should also should start an Top products that are “Made in India” category and discuss those product deal in there.

3. Atleast , make noise explicitly and make everyone aware that we should not buy “Made in China/PRC” Goods , – we should do this explicitly – if we see
anyone boasting with Chinese made products

4. Now – a – days , The Chinese themselves are using Iphones , than their household brands….
Their household brands , they are dumping to India and other asian countries and killing their manufacturing Hubs….
So , we have to be aware of this.

You pointed out that Xioami Redmi is made in India which is not at all complete and correct statement.
The box though mentions as Made in India.B it when you open the mobile you’ll see all Chinese manufactured parts. So it’s just assembled in India not made in.
These two words – assembled and Made in ,have completely different meanings.

Now don’t change your tone that it is necessity and other factors .When tou don’t accept it and learn new things instead of arguing.

Read my earlier comment in the thread properly and you will know that I never changed my opinion. I never said that Xiaomi Redmi is ‘made in India’. I said that it is ‘make in India’. Yes the device is only assembled in India and that uses space, manpower, electricity and other resources of India. Rest are raw materials, about which I already discussed.
Even if it would have been a completely foreign product, I would have happily use it.Blocking of trade will only hamper our economy. We cannot stop trade with other countries unless it is absolutely necessary. Let the government decide the right time for that.
