Sub standard quality of clothes on E-commerce?

When I buy clothes from E commerce website mostly FK/Amzon, it starts fading colour and loses shine quickly, but No such issue when I buy from store. Anybody else noticed this? Are E commerce sells fake brands or brands dump garbage on online sites to give good deals and capture market share as well as free advertisement?

Possible. Observed quality difference in Surf Excel bought from Big bazaar and another general store(no discount or little disc)
Friend also observed
Observed the same for AT luggage including backpacks
Conclusion: Could be possible that these Malls/etailers bulk orders are compromised in quality proportional to discount like milkman mixing water and selling cheaper

Yes, apparently they manufacture different quality and/or sell old stock online. My Bro has luggage retail shop and according to him, they have signed agreement with brands that the current season items will not be sold online.
