Need suggestion for a new DTH connection

Dear dimers,
I live in Tamilnadu. Going to take a new DTH connection in a couple of days. I have never used a DTH and need a suggestion here mainly in terms of availing more benefits from the recharge offers.

I have a vodafone postpaid mobile connection. As you all know, we can keep paying the bill irrespective of the bill amount and it will go into negative balance or credits.

Is there a DTH connection like that or is it like we need to recharge only to a specific denominations.

Kindly suggest

Thanks

Best would be Videocon and you can recharge the same number by prefixing a zero to use freecharge offers.

Go for Tata Sky. Best DTH in the market right now

Highest no. of HD channels = 68.

Clarity is perfect!

You can recharge with any amount starting from Rs 8 to 30,000.

@Sandy Go with Videocon D2H. See: http://www.desidime.com/forums/dost-and-dimes/t...

Moreover, all of the DTH connections that I am aware of allow top-up of the main balance above a certain minimum amount (usually 50 or 100 on Paytm/Freecharge) as and when you feel like it.

All dth hv same rates..they dnt go into negative balance..airtel should be avoided.(for not giving discounts)
Videocon should b prefered i think it has more channel per value

Airtel charges a small fee(Rs 15 ) if your balance goes zero

Airtel has horrible UI i dnt knw abt others. Easiness to use might be imp for some ppl.

On tatasky u cn recharge daily so u dont have to pay on days u dnt watch
Gud if u r frequent traveler

U cn recharge most dth for any value above 100 ..like 100 150 153 345 any value like

They deduct on daily basis.(like airtel)

So buy a dth (not airtel) that gives u more hd channels in less value if u have big hd tv

Ps : Airtel chor h

Go for videocon DTH.
best value for money.
also they don’t disconnect even if you have not recharged for some time and kept the connection in inactive state.

Videocon picture quality sucks. Though it is bit cheap in compare to TataSky, but if you want to go for quality, then buy Tata Sky only.
