Please provide model number
As ranjithsai01 said work out the exact model you want based on your requirements
Here is one model: http://www.amazon.in/IFB-Elena-Aqua-Fully-autom...
We have been using the older version of this model for several years now. At my location, IFB service is very good
I know this thread is not about this… But I want to rant a little.
After searching a lot and looking at my requirements I chose to buy semi automatic. Bought it a week back. Exactly this model

My conclusions is Washing Machine is not good for washing dirty clothes. It’s only good for washing clean clothes, rinse them & drying them.

I am not sure about the LG and a top load machine but with a suitable powder and correct settings IFB does a great job for us. It takes about 2.5-3 hours for washing the clothes and an additional 30 mins for extra rinse in case of bed spreads and such.
PS- Not talking about badly soiled clothes, but reasonably dirty enough.

Hmm ok I use to wash, rinse & dry them within 40 minutes. Next time I will try it for a little longer.
Currently I am using an IFB Elena aqua front load washing machine at my home bought from Amazon 1 year back. Its great and is far better than my whirlpool semiautomatic washing which I was using earlier. However recently I ordered a Bosch model for my relative in a different city.
Use the bank offer running on different sites and you will get a nice deal.

I have a LG Front loading WM that I have been using for 12.5 years. No problem whatsoever. It is not quiet like the new DirectDrive machines. Wash programs range from 30 minutes to 3.5 hours. You have to select the right program. Mine does a good job on heavily soiled clothes also – Cotton + Intensive wash (60 degrees).
Consider Siemens too. Using it for 1.5 yrs, its good.
@memaity
Only IFB. Work out the features, weight etc for you budget.
