Baba Ramdev used to come on TV years back and say what not about FMCG companies. people didn’t take it seriously till he stepped into FMCG segment after success in ayurvedic medicines.
Like his all out inconvenientional approach in tv commercials giving Colgate a challenge they never imagined. A perfect underdog case study for MBA marketing syllabus.
Buy Patanjali products even if they are slightly expensive. Its the only way to teach the foreign companies not to sell substandard products at high prices in India.
It will only lead to price reduction and quality improvement by all other manufacturers.

Any products to substitute MOODS ?
AND for nanhe munne diaper.?
Jokes apart, I think they will launch it soon.
Till then you can use other Indian brands:
or
(50% Indian, 50% Australian)
KamaSutra
And for diaper, Himalaya
@dharmanath481 thanks for creating this thread.
I still remember in my early days at DD, without proper understanding of @dimepincher bro’s post I told him to respect our Indian brands and he corrected me later and also gave me Karma writing: “Sweet guy”

well you need to understand whats comes under the FMCG.
Baba nor his partner don’t have share holders in the company so they need not share profits So they seem to channel it all in expansion.
Seed capital was crowd funded by his yoga students so there is greater accountability than a MNC.
Only way to support this underdog phenomenon is to buy any Patanjali product atleast 1.
We humans love the concept of an underdog who everyone rejected but he stood his ground and won. thats also a super hit movie formula. can remember atleast 4 names Aamir’s Jo jita wohi sikander, even Stallone’s Rocky
Don’t buy Big Bazaar in house brand “Fresh & Pure” and Patanjali honey as both company honey if left idle for few days, starts showing it’s true colors. Basically honey being lighter, it goes up and the sugar content settles at the bottom which proves the amount of adulteration in these products.
So kindly refrain from buying them.
@dharmanath481 wrote:All companies do adulteration depending on the product price. It would be foolish to expect no adulteration at a cheaper price. But this guy Baba ramdev made the whole country a bunch of fools by making them believe they are getting quality for less. While some products might be good, majority of them are just polished bullshit. There’s no intrinsic benevolence in this patanjali like many think. Just think. Why would a spiritual guru sell noodles pasta washing powder and shit like that. But we are Indians we’ll believe anyone in saffron clothes….

I have used too many products of patanjali; apart from their honey I was very much satisfied with product quality. That too at the price point, full satisfaction.
And honey also, I tried only one flavor. May be other flavors…….
But isn’t Patanjali’s Honey FSSAI and BIS certified?

about the adulteration part, that can be agreed with, that is the reason they have same product in different category ranges (with name tags like, premium, standard, basic etc),
it all comes down to profit and how much money they make,
offnote: * a spiritual guru * ..???
is Ramdev a spiritual guru? spiritual would be Aasaram bapu
baba is yoga and selfie guru

More that the products I like the market disruption he created in the corporate world, rather a tsunami where all the top companies have been challenged at once Colgate, Dabur, Marico, Britannia, ITC, Nestle, Himalaya, Unilever just to name a few and its not verbal but actual superior products pitched .
The Patanjali toothpaste packing states its manufactured at 5 factories… impressive.
Tomato ketchup for 70/kg while its for 125 by Maggie (the market leader)
Everything works when it is organized. Indians always favoured gharule nuskhe(ayurveda) over anything and this sector was unorganized. Baba Ramdev established a brand and started selling them almost at the same price as other toothpastes. This was even important cause had he made this cheaper it would have undermined its value/quality. He has hit the sweet spot in the pricing where the general notion is may be a bit costlier but it is the price we are paying for better quality so that works and not to mention no “Aapke toothpaste pe namak hai” ads

Why do i feel a kind of hatred/accusation in your posts? Most of the successful persons does it with a certain selfish/personal reason or you can also call it as motive. We think about our own selfish reasons & think about ways to get it done. Those reasons turn into goals & gradually it happens such that on the way to success, you wont find it to be a smooth journey. There are ups & downs & certain things are compromised to reach the goal. If you start dissecting too much into each & every deed by a person/organization, then it would become personal as you start thinking from your point of view & forget about the general audience point of view.
We might not like certain deeds by person/organization but if it is helping for the greater good of a nation & its people, we need to re-analyze our thoughts before coming to a conclusion.
It’s just that sometimes you face a situation wherein by saying a lie, it might do some good but on saying the truth, it might lead to a bad situation. Which would you choose?
No offense meant to anyone as everyone is entitled to an opinion.

But you can believe whatever you want to man.
yeah I’m accusing him of greed. He could have made a very good living just by teaching yoga. He chose to capitalise on that however and sells adulterated stuff now so I dont have respect for him. in reality there’s not much difference between ambani and ramdev, so my hatred shouldn’t be so surprising…
Most of patanjali products are outsourced from small private companies. FSSAI raised issues with the quality of many of patanjali products. Baba Ramdev got one of his relatives installed as the Director at FSSAI and now FSSAI has suddenly become quiet.
@krishna.maverick942
If Ramdev is not different from Ambani, then let’s stop supporting/using Reliance and Jio as well.
It’s not a question of whether Ramdev is a Yogi or a businessman. It’s just a discussion on the goodness (or otherwise) of Patanjali products both to the individuals and the society. If you have anything to say about that backing it with proof, do it. Otherwise it’s better to shut up.
FSSAI or any other standardisation is just a joke in this country. One could get these certificates by paying the “fixed” prices even without being a big shot.
There are people who use Patanjali stuff not because Ramdev is a Yogi or it is certified by FSSAI but because we try it and find it to be good. And wherever we find the quality below par, we reject it. Common sense does matter in these cases.
Wonder where you guys go when the TV commercials are repeatedly brainwashing people into using Colgate, Fair & Lovely, Lifebuoy, Dominos and all the rest of that shit.

ha haaa haa , bhai kuch bhi , hai ? seriously ?? it is not twitter , whatsapp or fb , here dimers are not like jo suna wo man lia , had h yaar .
outsourced part – let me know any 1 item which is outsourced , if you saw mgf by or batch unit address then first search difference between both , and patanjali or any company gives contract to manufacture its items with its fixed combination/recipe/formula . and that what every company do , bcoz for complete reach of india , it is cheapest option to install own factories or mfg those items in separate parts of india . whenever you buy any brand item if you notice batch then you will find that your item is mfg by your nearest unit .
2nd FSSAI – read maggi issue then go through all news then go through previous chief exile and new appointment story then read maggi came back again and fssai move focus on patanjali . so this whole scenario no where relates to your point . so whats the logic of your comment ??
and if you hate him or his item then do comments on that , and dont bring politics in everything .
coming soon – patanjali sim cards
