Baba Ramdev used to come on TV years back and say what not about FMCG companies. people didn’t take it seriously till he stepped into FMCG segment after success in ayurvedic medicines.
Like his all out inconvenientional approach in tv commercials giving Colgate a challenge they never imagined. A perfect underdog case study for MBA marketing syllabus.

Buy Patanjali products even if they are slightly expensive. Its the only way to teach the foreign companies not to sell substandard products at high prices in India.
It will only lead to price reduction and quality improvement by all other manufacturers.

If Ramdev is not different from Ambani, then let’s stop supporting/using Reliance and Jio as well. wink

It’s not a question of whether Ramdev is a Yogi or a businessman. It’s just a discussion on the goodness (or otherwise) of Patanjali products both to the individuals and the society. If you have anything to say about that backing it with proof, do it. Otherwise it’s better to shut up.

FSSAI or any other standardisation is just a joke in this country. One could get these certificates by paying the “fixed” prices even without being a big shot.

There are people who use Patanjali stuff not because Ramdev is a Yogi or it is certified by FSSAI but because we try it and find it to be good. And wherever we find the quality below par, we reject it. Common sense does matter in these cases. toungueout

Wonder where you guys go when the TV commercials are repeatedly brainwashing people into using Colgate, Fair & Lovely, Lifebuoy, Dominos and all the rest of that shit. lol

bro also do tell these people about soaps they do use daily thinking oh wow we are using lux / dettol , killing germs . lol

in short – do check back wrapper of soap and then check what is written on that . 90% soaps are toilet soaps category , that too made using chemicals which are not recommended for human skin , even if you rub those soaps hard it will give you scratches seen as white skin after bath .

rest all items similar stories .

and yes this thread is only for topic on products , even if we suppose that ramdev is only a politican then too people will buy only good which are cheaper and better for health if they feel difference , so market depend on consumers . and this thread asking reviews and comment on this underdog patanjali . and patanjali even dont need a brand ambassdor .

ha haaa haa , bhai kuch bhi , hai ? seriously ?? it is not twitter , whatsapp or fb , here dimers are not like jo suna wo man lia , had h yaar .

outsourced part – let me know any 1 item which is outsourced , if you saw mgf by or batch unit address then first search difference between both , and patanjali or any company gives contract to manufacture its items with its fixed combination/recipe/formula . and that what every company do , bcoz for complete reach of india , it is cheapest option to install own factories or mfg those items in separate parts of india . whenever you buy any brand item if you notice batch then you will find that your item is mfg by your nearest unit .

2nd FSSAI – read maggi issue then go through all news then go through previous chief exile and new appointment story then read maggi came back again and fssai move focus on patanjali . so this whole scenario no where relates to your point . so whats the logic of your comment ??

and if you hate him or his item then do comments on that , and dont bring politics in everything .

I did not say CEO or MD, I said Director. There is a difference. I know this from personal knowledge not from any twitter or whatapp forward.

As for outsourcing, this news came and has so far not been refuted

You are claiming: “Most of patanjali products are outsourced from small private companies”

I think you missed to read this in mint link shared by you: “About 85% of all production is done in-house”

That clearly means that only 15% products are being outsourced

Didn’t know that 15% is called most of.

FYI outsourcing is very common in almost all FMCG companies.

When any company gives contract to manufacture any product to outsider, there are certain rules regulation, guidelines and quality standards that other has to follow. They can’t just make any random product.

As per your comment can I assume that you always buy products manufactured and marketed by same company? That is very tough task. Salute to you bro.

We are here to discuss quality of Patanjali products. And to support Indian brand so that our money remains in our country only. If you don’t have anything to comment about it then better to remain silent.

That’s exactly my point. Patanjali is no different. See beyond the yoga and ayurved screen he put in front of our eyes.

The poor, little, weak underdog this time offered to tender even a 'public apology', to which the bench finally said 'okay'.
Now the poor, little underdog has about seven days to do so.

#sarcasm ?

Yeah that choice of title, is indeed in poor taste.
Referring to them as an underdog, to me, defies logic.
