Tata Sky Full Year recharge question

I usually recharge tata sky connection for 1 full year because it comes out to be cheaper. But the periodic offers which keeps coming (like movies for 1 re, HD for 1 re etc), I am unable to avail those because after few months, the account balance becomes negative due to full year recharge, and these offers dont work if your account balance is negative.
So, do you think full year recharge is the cheapest option, or how should I recharge?

Seems you recharge for the annual pack but forget to activate the pack after recharge. Pack can be activated by logging in TS portal or by calling CC. Otherwise no question of balance getting negative without activating another package.
Even if balance is negative, you can recharge for say Rs. 10 to enjoy those Saturday only offers.
@hese pay for 11 months, get 12th month free if you opt for annual pack. Earlier it was pay for 10 get 2 months free.
