TATA Sky vs Dish TV vs Videocon DTH which one to select @Kolkata

I’m from Kolkata as well, still waiting for Jio DTH!
My friend got the Tata Sky ultra HD pack with all channels and he said he got it a better deal than what he pays for normal cable.

DishTV and Videocon merger going to be completed in 3-6 months

you can go with either one

as of now DishTV has more HD channels than Videocon

Using Videocon in kolkata. Not bad…

u can go for any Dth except Sun and BigTV
Rest all are gud ,..

@nofpd if you bought vu 40inch or higher then go for the one which offers maximum number of HD channesls as SD channels look awful on these
Tv due to bigger size.
I bought dish tv few days back for 1150 from ebay. UI lags quite alot as compared to my previous airtel sd dth and connection breaks for longer in bad weather.
Rest is all okay, got dish tv as I liked their full on HD plan better.

Bro get Airtel DTH or Dish TV anything with 6 month to 1 year from eBay, use it and throw it once Jio comes.

If you need quality Airtel and Tata are the ones to go I guess but costly.

How many hours of viewing?
If it’s less than 3 hours per day the just get a jio Sim and install jio TV app on phone.

If TV has miracast then just swipe to see on big screen.

I didn’t renew my office TV subscription after upgrading to redmi 4 and jio sim.

Definitely wait for jio DTH because they might bring some thing ground breaking technology.

Go with Airtel dth. It will work out cheaper

Just 99Rs. pack for tata sky add HD access fee. Just activate and de-activate the channel you want for the day. you can keep bengali pack for elders and kids pack for kids. This is the lowest HD option I found. BTW how is VU?
