Why can’t they have online only payment and get rid of cash payments? Thoughts please….
They are many customers who suffer because of those drivers who demands for cash and cancels the ride. Once I got in the cab, driver asked me whether the payment is ola money or cash. I had to get down and wait for 15 minutes on road to catch another cab.

if driver cancel ride before trip start, uber will auto assign another driver. how the same driver can complete the ride after cancelling it.

There are 2 reasons for this as per experience with drivers.
1. Urgency of money needed by driver at that time. Cause it will take 4-5 days to reflect money in their account. So they will ask you to do cash payment.
2. Ola or uber used to offer more offers to drivers at starting of their launch. After some point with their stabilization, they reduced all offers and started charging on money they got through Ola money. Ola money directly goes to Ola, they are keeping customed charges and giving less amount to the driver which makes drivers furious and make them quit. Some drivers who own their vehicle through loans are being with them.
Some drivers I noticed making Ola/uber as platform and making money. Recently I book through uber Paytm, driver called me and asked payment mode. I said Paytm, then he cancelled the ride and completed my ride and asked me pay money at the end.
