Recently i ported from Vodafone to Jio
My mobile is OnePlus One
When i open my Tez App it says ‘as your sim is changed you account is blocked and u need to restore’
When i click on Restore button for the bank account i added..it is throwing ‘unable to send SMS’
on phonepe it says ‘sms sent and waiting for validation’ – and its still waiting..
i think this issue will be for all other UPI based apps..
Below is my thinking for this issue
1. i use Jio4GVoice app for calls and messages
2. may be app is trying to send sms from default message but it cant send so the error in Tez(i changed default message to Jio also)
3. in phonepe it says message sent but response is not coming,and so the loop
Need dimers help to fix this issue..it was fine when im with vodafone..

Send manually. Same as tez.
Clear data and uninstall app.. again reinstall it… And then try to send manual upi msg..
i tried your way…
it is trying to authenticate by sending OTP
OTP is coming to JIOVoice App and i think it is trying to read from default SMS app and says unable to authenticate…
now im unable to login to phonepe

thanks to phonepe support,i esclated the issue to them,
they released an update to enter the OTP manually if it fails auto read.
Now waiting for UPI issue fix

Only one time msg resend & clear phone pay app history & data,re-login & problem will be rectified.
I am having trouble sending sms for tez. As mentioned above i have tried sending the msg manually it was sucessful but the tez app still says failed to send sms. Please help

I have ported to Jio and use Jio4gvoice app as my mobile is not VoLTE supported.
I try to restore my bank account through Google Pay/Phonepe but fail everytime as they are unable to send sms through the Jio4gvoice app.
I tried sending the messages manually but to no use. Also tried clearing the app data, reinstalling the app etc. But none worked.
If someone could resolve this issue, it would be really helpful.

For me also same problem please tell me how u overcome with that problem… And how did u send message on Google Pay manually…
I am also stuck with opo… Unable to use any upi app, tried at least 7-8 apps, none working due to sms issue with native messaging and jio4gVoice app..

Yeah that’s true since i tried lot of apps with no success. However i am not getting manual send option in gpay somehow. I have seen it in past, but now no manual option to recover your account…
Bhai log kisi ko solution mila kya upi apps verify karne ka non volte phone main.jio4g voice se msg send nhi ho rha.aur manually send karne pe msg send hota hai but jab wapas upi app main aate hai toh Waha failed hota hai.app ki security ki wajah se jaise he app minimize hoti hai waise he verification fail ho jaata hai.mobikwik pe bhi sam prob.
no other way…just port to other network else change your mobile

The failed message appears on the jio4Gvoice app only once it is failed, but sending it manually doesn’t makes sense because the verification code has been expired till then . And m stuck too. How do I fix it .

the only solution is to change to other network else buy new mobile
