why this question even though ?
can’t (like DBT beneficiaries) department and agencies trace persons behind wallets (even if PAN is not given to wallets)?

Taxable if more than 50k in an year
yess
The sad thing is what is termed cashback is unclear . As most sites have their own form of cashback and when a refund comes it goes to that wallet sometimes (if partial) like Amazon Coolwinks, paytm does. And with legal language you cannot even fight with comma or fullstop.
Plz correct me if wrong. Will love to hear as it may help me to save in future time if i earned more than 50k🤭
What’s not clear? Any cashback received in any e-wallet(paytm,phonepe,amazon,ola etc)/bank account/credit card is “income from other sources”. Any cashback received in the form of instant discount is not included in this.
