Things to consider in Ironing Board?

Anybody please advise or point me to some reference. Thanks.

Waiting for LG to launch that mysterious washing machine that even iron the shirt…hope they launch soon.

@VickyB You seem to be overthinking for a standard item like an ironing board.

Since I got tagged here, all I will say is that when it comes to ironing boards, the bigger the better. However, the bigger ones do cost more as well. So buy a decent one as per your budget.

Vicky bhai, you are indeed overthinking. Anyway, I do hope you get more data points from people who might have researched ironing boards with more tenacity than I ever did. You already know the only suggestion which came to my head. Good luck!

As for who/why somebody tagged me, Barood tagged me (see right above my previous post). He seems to have a habit to tag random users in his posts. Anyway, I was indeed kind of busy that day and would have skipped your thread if it weren’t for his tag.

Regarding ironing board, it’s not that cheap I can change every month so I want something reliable. The main reason for asking suggestion was I haven’t used it ever so I wanted to know the points to consider. I want that for my father actually. I still likes to iron on floor only

You can have idea of that from weight of the product.

Second point will be L*B*H , which could be more the marrier if flat type of Mumbai is not a matter.

Third point is utility space , one at the right hand for resting the iron ( designed for right hand batsman ), second is below the board for keeping ironed clothes.

4th is quality of board, which can’t be ascertained unless u have it in front of u.

You may order something from Amazon and they will accept the return easily. Its wild guess if quality as you can find the product from Rs 400 to 4000.
