If everyone thinks the same way, we don’t have food to eat
from tenali bro
You can try flowers farming, but only after getting all info from local farmer who’s into flowers farming.
good idea bro 👍
4 or 5 generation farmers are dying…don’t ever come to farming
So many issues
1.labour issues
2. No proper crop price
3.climatic change
So, what shall you feed your kids?
1. Investment depends on the crop which you are going to grow.
2. Disadvantages are no surety of income if you are doing traditional farming. Labour shortage even if you pay them the amount they get while working in cities.
small doubt. is it possible to do farming without the help of labor?
To all above qns u need take advice from experienced ppl, u can’t achieve anything if u don’t know A to Z knowledge of it…
Don’t hurry up be cool n stay strong n learn everything regarding it…
yeah, ok bro 👍
learning is first.
earning is second.
If you have so much land, then take loans on that land and do farming too, and enjoy your life.
Your childrens would suffer. That’s what many farmers are doing today.
They’re also not wrong, they can’t earn enough by farming then loan & enjoy is the only option left.
i don’t have own land bro
Even I gave a thought about it, but uncertainty of rains/weather made me drop the idea.
The thing with farming is that there is nothing for sure and risks are very high,
even with schemes(crop insurance schemes like RaithuBharosa) you will get only some percent in case of crop damage; and you have to bear the loss!!
I’ll suggest you start your training from this farmer:
Be his apprentice for few months.
What is your qualification bro? Don’t take it in other way, just for information asking
10th (fail) bro
You can be successful.. Organic farming good scope.
Now a days Farmers can’t handle traditional farming(Due to labour cost, pesticides, tractor rents, uncertain climate and crop prices) hence we can’t suggest organic farming(need more cost and labour) to a newbie.
How much land you have ?
The main issue is selling not farming.
Where you are located ?
How far from City?
What you are planning to produce ?
Take loan from banks don’t worry about interests.banks can provide you loan on very low interest.
Since you don’t have land. You should start farming mushroom but first check with your locality. Mushroom requires very less space and gives good profit.
To learn about this you Can join your nearest krishi training centre.
ok bro, i will consider about mushroom cultivation too.
అలాగే బ్రొ. ఆర్గానిక్ ఫార్మింగ్కి మంచి ఫ్యూచర్ ఉంటుంది.
one don’t needs to be a non vegetarian to deal in that.
you will be shocked to Know links of top meat exporters in India have links to which party.
China is mastered in indoor vertical farming technologies. Contact some Chinese companies like Sanan Sino-Science and bring their technologies to India.
They are weather proof and flood proof. Since they are smart farms, there is very less manual labor required.
The initial investment will be high, but I think it’s worth trying.
You have given me a very good clue
Thanks for sharing.
Tobacco is also profitable, but land needs to be rich enough to grow it.
Ok but becoming farmer in this economy and the government maybe a bad decision, many farmers suicide year and the year (suicide data is not available) so think twice
Tell me in what sector you’ll just start and ll be successful without risk of loss?
Do consider fish farming.
Also there is good scope in milk business
Read it.
Have a look at "Pearl Farming ". Little investment Higher profit , Very very less Risk
Seriously after reading all the comments i will say one thing you people didn’t realise farming issues
How many of u r in farming or father is a farmer
As a farmer’s son with 20 acre land holding evening we are not able to get profits
Don’t blindly opt for farming after reading fb/ Twitter posts
I reiterate the fact that no proper pricing is there for crops
Right, op should only take some ideas from here and then know about it from local experienced.
Problem is that farmers don’t have proper knowledge, they’ll just do whatever others are doing.
Are u in farming ???
Farming is a good way of living. But like every other business, you need to find the sweet spot. Try microgreens, if you are in cities. You can sell to fine dining restaurants and supermarkets.
how to find sweet spot and what are microgreens please?
As u said u r currently unemployed then first question will be that who is behind those investments ??
I personally thing. The mediocre population moving to health and other bla bla. This could be a wise business and may be is. Also i think in coming future wise ppl will start their own farming their own garden are not commercially but for themselves
Many are already doing it, we have some plants.
But lack of land don’t allow people to grow at home, almost nobody knows about vertical thing, maybe Chinese or japanese can help in that.
No advantage, Sometimes you won’t even get back your investment.
