What the hell is going on desidime!!! @admin what’s wrong here? Anyone who want can abuse whoever he wants. This is ridiculous. @admin being a owner of such a huge website you should have a feature to block such people forever. Just make some way by which a person’s ip address can be blocked. Or if not then you should check that ip address regularly so that as soon as that jackass try to make a new account you can block him immediately.

I am sure the admins already track the IP addresses. Unfortunately (or fortunately), changing the IP address is very easy. Also, don’t forget that many times the same IP is shared by multiple users, as is the case with people using a regional ISP and students from the same hostel (seemingly common on DD). So even blocking an IP is not a good solution. My current IP is probably shared by a few thousand people (regional ISP), out of which a few might be present on DD without my knowledge.

FYI, no internet forum or company has been able to come up with a solid solution to this problem. Only feasible solution that the admins can work on is to limit the number of accounts that can be created by a single person by implementing SMS/call verification for signups. But, as you very well know, some DD users have access to hundreds of phone numbers. So, sadly, even this solution would be open to abuse.
