Hi dimers, I need to book train tickets worth 4000 using Amazon pay. I know that some sites like yatra, goibibo, ixigo, mmt, cleartrip, railyatri etc allow me to do that.
But tickets booked via these sites doesn’t show up in IRCTC site. I need confirmation email from official IRCTC site for reimbursement. Is there any way out?? Thanks in advance.

Yes except railyatri all provide train tickets directly from irctc.
You will have to enter your irctc userid and password to get ticket.
And after booking of ticket official irctc mail of ticket will come to your mail id.
You can also download ticket from irctc website as ticket will show in your id

The electronic reservation slip which is generated by irctc contains agent logo right on top centre and would also contain agent name in Fare details point no 4. (ixigo as well as mmt as well as yatra)
This are stats from my old booking – 3 months old max.
Since i don’t have any current ongoing booking i couldn’t generate a receipt of anything of similar nature. Irctc e-ticket agent should be accepted by your company if claiming reimbursement or some IT exemption. Since many users may not have access or capable enough to book online so it is very obvious that agent assistance may be required.

Better to go via official website or app instead of getting some useless cashbacks from partner websites.
It’s IRCTC, and there are chances of 2 persons getting the same berth even though it’s confirm ( not rac )
One of my friends experience – one old lady booked a ticket via Paytm she had the print out of it ( she said her son did her booking )
But on the chart the TTE had wasn’t listed. He was yelling at her and saying not to book via these sites for sake of cashbacks.
Travel route SC – GUNTUR

Yeah! Finally booked via IRCTC site this morning. Will use Amazon pay balance for other purchases. Thanks for commenting.

If pnr is generated and ticket is booked then tt have to provide the seat.
The old lady ticket must be of some different day than on which she travelled. Happens when train train starts 1 or 2 days before reaching your station
