in this article i will explain a trick that helps us to use IDM Trial version lifetime for free. not only 30 Days, lifetime trial 
No cracks, No hacks. Genuine IDM.
This Trick was verified on Windows7 PC.
I don’t know if it will work on other windows operating systems or not.
Firstly i wanna say one thing. IDM is available for Rs.1800/- with lifetime license. If the Amount matches your budget, please try to buy IDM from the IDM official website and give your support to the developers of the software.
The trick is only for those who can’t afford to spend that much money.
Ok, here is the trick:-
1) Firstly, if you have IDM in your PC then uninstall it completely.
2) Download the software called “IDM Trial reset.v.1.0.0.exe” from the Internet. Right click on it and select “Run as Administrator”.
3) Now click on “Trial Reset” as shown in the screenshot and then click “Reset the IDM trial now” and wait a few moments. it will delete registry files that belongs to IDM on your PC.
4) Done … The Good News tells you that the IDM Trial Period has been extended for another 30 days. And you can now download and install IDM and enjoy another 30 Days usage with Original IDM. what about after this extended 30-day trial period exhausted? just repeat this process once again.

Try JDownloader. It has individualised plugins for thousands of websites. Free and continuously updated. Available for Windows, Mac and Linux. Written in Java so has a higher resource overhead. But anything with 1GB RAM will run fine. Also has a Android app to remotely control it. IDM has a slight edge when it comes to downloading streaming videos esp. from obscure sites. The same comes to JDownloader eventually but might take a few weeks.
IDM is a paid software so better pay and use the same.
or search for free alternative.
I am using Free Download Manger for several years which is totally free and constantly updated.
Highly recommended.

what about our mac users 
Thought of purchasing IDM. But they specifically mentioned in their T&C that updates will be provided only for 3 years not lifetime.
Hence shifted to Eagleget which is a Free and Open Source software.
Satisfied as of now.

appreciate if somebody let me know any download manager (like IDM) for MAC as well.. (don’t have MS windows apart from office thinkpad, in which it cant be installed)
