Note this model is OOS in most of the places. Got my invite last week but still no stock of Wind 4. Now have to go for any other model… I am thinking of going for Wind 1.

Earlier they used to work with any Lyf set. For last few days, this is no longer happening. JIO SIMs are now bound to the specific Lyf handset through which it was activated. I use Wind 4 in hotspot mode with RN3. Already installed Jio play, Jio beats and Jio on demand in RN3 and they work perfectly with Jio ID when used through the hotspot. Only disadvantage is that 2 handsets need to be carried.
Is there any specific reason you would like to use the SIM in RN3.
