Tricky situation with Samsung Refrigerator

Hello All,
My parents use a Samsung Refrigerator which is 8 yrs old, it stopped working (No cooling) from last 2 months. When we raised issue with Samsung Service, we were informed that the part is no more manufactured and nothing can be done to fix it.
My next question was when you promise 10 yr compressor warantty, is that a Joke ? Because you dont even maintain the parts of old model for even 8 yrs ? There was no resolution provided and all i am left with is a dabba box. Even no additional exchange value being provided.
Any idea how to get the due ?

If you have 10 year warranty on compressor and compressor is faulty they will change it. If the delay then go to consumer court, you will get good compensation.
Issue is not with compressor but some particular part which has 1 year warantty and now they dont manufacture it anymore
Then it’s out of warranty bro, try finding this part in some local shop
May be gas issue
