Sharing an article that I came across, which everyone should go through and then take a wise decision. I will not create any more threads because this is what most of the people point fingers at and here is the answer.

Unlike the cartoons and other far from reality stuff being posted by AAPretards, every scam the AAPCON team has alleged has been clarified with direct links (and not cartoons by anti bjp and anti nationals).

Next time anybody brings this topic tell them to shut their mouth. There is a difference between ALLEGING and PROVING. Even after reading this one is not convinced means then definitely that creature belongs to the party led by an Anarchist and who doesn’t even give respect to Judicial system of the country he resides and doesn’t respect the National Flag.

Since this is the major allegation made on BJP and they failed in this, lets us see what else strategy they will come up with https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif

Truth of BJP “Scams” alleged by Congress and its B Team AAP
Recently, AAPians have tried to lump BJP with Congress saying both are corrupt. More so, Congress has been
trying to cover its brazen corruption by getting its paid media to focus on BJP “Scams”.

We all know there’s nothing hidden in Congress’s monstrous corruption.

AAP started with Anna ji’s anti-Congress corruption movement and initially produced a 370 page chargesheet
against Congress corruption. Kejriwal now asks for proof against Congress from the BJP
!

The List given below has been parroted on social media by Paid social Media eNREGA, Congress/ AAP Bots
without any corroboration.

Usual tactics adopted by Congress/AAP:

Hit and run – Throw allegations in a Press conference Hype it with Congress/AAP owned Media Congress is in power since 10 years, so has control of whole Government apparatus CBI and others– Supreme Court, in fact, called CBI a “Caged Parrot” of Congress Government

If some scam indeed comes to light of the top Leadership of the party, it then matters is how the Party deals with it? Has the Congress booked any single case against any of its Leader in past 10 years?

Let us see one by one the happenings and status of each of the BJP so-called “Scams”:

1. Phukan Commission
George Fernandes got clean chit from Phukan Commission
http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/tehelka-tape...

2. Kargil Coffin Scam
George Fernandes given chean chit by CBI under Congress Government in Kargil Coffin scam case

Case against 3 ex-Armymen in Kargil Coffin scam case dismissed
http://www.business-standard.com/article/news-i...

3. Kargil Cess misuse
To meet the expenses for Kargil military operations, the NDA Government collected Rs. 7,000 crores from
Taxpayers. The amount of collected tax, instead of being used for National Security, was treated as part of
the “General Revenues” of Government. Which “Scam” is being talked about here? Compare this financial
management with huge Tax hikes under Congress regime, mismanagement of the economy and rate hikes in
Fuel!

4. Telecom Scam
Reliance was granted Licence under NDA Government. The only case has been filed by AAP’s Prashant
Bhushan
. Compare this with Rs. 1.86 lakh crore 2G scam and subsequent murder of Telecom sector by
Congress Government.

5. Bailout package to private players
When it comes to Sh Arun Shourie, the common man knows its crap to even talk about corruption. He is the
statesman responsible for successful disinvestments and boom in Telecom sector. Read Telecom sector – the
story in clear print to know how BJP cleared the sector from the muddle of previous governments and hence
the boom subsequently happened
. The so-called “Scam” in the bailout package was an economic necessity
and the resultant boom in the sector validated the approach of Sh Arun Shourie.

6. UTI scam
The Unit Trust of India is the largest mutual fund.

The UTI (of which the US-64 scheme is the largest) was set-up specifically to channel small savings of citizens into investments giving relatively large returns/interest.
Liberalisation of the economy immediately led to the liberalisation of the UTI, throwing it to the mercy of the stock market. In 1992, itself the US-64 scheme was changed from a debt-based fund to one linked to equity.
In 1992 only 28% of its funds was in equity; today it is over 70%. Further liberalisation was pushed by Chidambram, as the finance minister of the UF government, who, in 1997, removed all government nominees from the board of the UTI. Besides, the US-64 does not come under SEBI regulations, its investment delails are kept secret (ever depositors cannot know where their funds are being parked) and the chairman has arbitrary powers to personally decide an investment upto a huge Rs 40 crores. Such ‘liberalisation’ is tailor-made for frauds. Not surprisingly, within one year of Chidambram’s liberalisation, in 1998, the UTI crashed, and the new BJP-led government organised a large Rs. 3,500 crore bail-out to prevent default.

It was during this crisis that the new chairman, P.S. Subramanyam, was appointed. Subramanyam was a direct appointee of Jayalalitha, who had made his selection a condition for her continuing the support of the then NDA government. Small investor’s funds were used to promote big business houses, shower favours to politicians, and invest huge amounts in junk bonds, all for a fat commission. Subramanyam functioned like a fascist, arbitrarily transferring hundreds of senior staff, in order to cover his tracks. He was a key player in the Ketan Parekh scam.

Huge amount of UTI funds were channelled into the infamous K-10 list of Keten Parekh stock, such as Himachal Futuristic, Zee Telefilims, Global Tele, DSQ, etc. The UTI continued to buy these shares even when their market value began to crash in mid-2000, in order to prop up the share values of these stocks. The Trust saw its Rs. 30,000 portfolio (value of stocks) lose half its value within a year since Feb. 2000.

To take just one example on how the UTI operated : In August 2000, much after the software stocks had begun to crash, the UTI bought Rs. 34 crores worth of shares in Cyberspace Infosys Ltd at the huge price of Rs 930 per share. Today the shares have no value and its Lucknow based promoters, the Johari Group, are in
jail. India’s prime minister, Vajpayee, as late as Jan. 31, 2001, laid the foundation stone for the Software Technology Park (STP) in Lucknow, promoted by this group. (Incidentally the UP government had a 26% share in this STP). Coincidentally, in the four days when the UTI reversed its earlier decision and subscribed to 3.45 lakh shares of Cyberspace, Subramanyam had rung up N.K. Singh (then secretary in the PMO) at least 4 times.

Similar were the investments in DSQ Software, HFCL, Sriram Multitech. and others.
Read here: http://www.bannedthought.net/India/PeoplesMarch...

Now, as you can see, it was Chidambram who led to the scam and not any BJP leader. Other scams like Cyberspace Infosys scam are an offshoot of UTI scam and have no connection whatsoever with any BJP leader, but with Chidambram. In Arvind Johari, Vajpayee IT Park Lucknow scam, where Johari, played on his Lucknow connections and got Atal Bihari Vajpayee to inaugurate Cybertron Technopolis, a 40,000 sq ft technology park in the PM’s constituency. Then, the beleaguered’s PM’s photograph was flashed around by Johari and used by him to con people about his powerful connections. Subsequently Arvind Johari was barred by SEBI from capital markets for 10 years

Not only inflation, BJP’s top brass’ indecisiveness has cost us dear. The Kandahar episode of Air India has created an unprecedented event & portrayed us in bad light. What Russians can do to suppress Chechen rebels (remember the theatre episode) or Israelis can do to rescue their Olympics players in Munich episode & many others couldn’t be done by nincompoop BJP Govt.

Narendra Modi raps PM for delay in nod to gates on Sardar Sarovar dam
http://zeenews.india.com/news/gujarat/narendra-…

“I congratulate Gujarat Congress leaders, who met Prime Minister on this issue. My question (to Prime Minister) is even if you don’t want to listen to me, listen to them (your leaders). At least, listen to your party leaders,”

Modi said, while addressing farmers at the country’s biggest ‘Krushi Mela’ at Khodaldham temple premises in
Kagvad village.

“I urge PM, Gujarat Congress leaders to leave politics aside and give us permission to install gates on
Sardar Sarovar Dam. For five years, this work has been pending,” he said, criticising the PM for being slow in decision-making.

“I don’t know the reason why they are not allowing to install gates on the dam. It will at least take three years to complete installation of gates on the dam,” the BJP’s prime ministerial nominee said.

“Shall I give it in writing that I don’t need credit for it? What more shall I do? My farmers in Gujarat require water,” he said. Hailing nation’s first Home Minister late Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel for keeping India united, Modi said that Junagadh has been part of the country only because of him.

agricultural production, Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi has announced a new agri-related power
connection scheme,” said Saurabh Patel, energy minister, Government of Gujarat.

Patel said that earlier farmers had applied for new agri-related power connection under a general scheme till March 31, 2013. “All the farmers under the general scheme can now avail power connection under the new immediate scheme,” he said.

Farmers would be required to apply for a new agri power connection at the local sub-division office between
November 1 and December 15, 2013. Moreover, at the payment of ’ 500, their applications under the general
scheme will be converted into the immediate power connection scheme 2013.

Dr. Rajiv. K. Gupta, I.A.S
Principal Secretary
Water Supply Department
The Water Supply Department of the Government of Gujarat has developed a state-wide water supply grid to
manage the problem of water scarcity in the state. This grid was developed and extended over the last
decade to augment the local resources and to quench the thirst for water in the areas facing water scarcity.
Gujarat faces scarcity of water in certain regions that are arid and receive less rainfall. Almost 70% of
Gujarat’s fresh water resources are located only in 30% of its geographical area restricted to South Gujarat.

Frequent droughts accentuate this scarcity of water in the state. The State thus undertook a sustainable
measure to combat this problem by developing a ‘State-wide Water Supply Grid’. This water supply grid
consists of water supply schemes based in Narmada and other regional water supply schemes.

With this grid, the government is able to supply water to far-off places through an inter-basin bulk water
transfer. This is an enormous project, with a spread of 1,20,769 km. It aims to serve 75% of Gujarat’s
population.
In the year 2012, late arrival of monsoons and scarce rainfall accentuated the water scarcity in the state.
Gujarat had recorded 798 mm rainfall, which is only 72% of its annual rainfall. The region of Saurashtra
received only 366 mm rainfall, which is only 56% of the annual average. Due to this, even the dams in
Saurashtra and Kutch had dried up. The Bhadar Dam which serves Rajkot city and Ranjit Sagar Dam which
serves Jamnagar had also dried up. This created a situation of extreme water scarcity among a huge
population. In this scenario, it was the state-wide water supply grid that helped the entire state supplement its water needs. It became a lifeline for drinking water supply to the regions of Kutch and Saurashtra, as the revolutionary water supply grid remained the only source of drinking water supply in the region.
This grid was an integral part of the Water Supply Department’s mission to combat the droughts in the state
through various measures. A contingency plan of Rs 133 crore out of a total of Rs 185 crore was earmarked for the villages of Kutch and Saurashtra alone, as these were identified as the most severely affected areas. The villages that were connected to the water supply grid started receiving adequate water. For the villages that couldn’t directly be connected to the grid, alternative measures were devised, such as drilling new tube wells, installing RO plants, and providing water tankers.
In a comparative study of water supply in Kutch, it can be observed that scarcity of water has reduced by a considerable amount over the decade. In 2001, due to droughts, a large area of the state needed water
supply through tankers. In Kutch alone, 350 villages demanded this service. This scenario has drastically
changed over the past decade. In 2013, even in scarcity of natural water supply, only 56 villages needed the State’s assistance in form of water tankers.
This is a sustainable investment by the Water Supply Department, which has saved the State the additional
expenditure on water tankers to drought affected areas.
The State’s Water Supply Department has taken another major initiative towards strengthening the water
supply network. A new offtake has been created on the Dhrangadhra branch canal near Sadulka. Also, a new
pumping station and a new pipeline between Sadulka and Morbi were developed. This has helped to provide an
additional 150 million liters of water per day to Rajkot, Jasmnagar, Porbandar and Kutch districts. This was the first time that the Narmada water was supplied beyond Panchdevda in Jamnagar district.
Furthermore, 36 pumping stations were augmented to enhance the water supply capacity. The average supply
from the Grid to Saurashtra and Kutch increased from 850 million liters per day in 2012 to 1340 million liters per day in 2013.
Strengthening water supply in scarce regions also served the cattle of the region. A regular supply of drinking water was arranged for 1480 cattle troughs in Kutch.
In urban areas that faced water shortage due to drying up of Bhadar-I dam, water was supplied through
creating of new water tapping regions, reverse pumping and laying new pipelines. With this, the water supply from the Grid to urban areas of Saurashtra and Kutch increased from 208 MLD in 2012 to 400 MLD in 2013.
Administrative set up was also strengthened to control the scarcity. A new zonal office was established at
Junagadh which covered the districts of Junagadh, Amreli, Porbandar and Bhavnagar. New staff was deployed,
which included hydrogeologists and patrolling teams. Water Infrastructure Protection Task Force was set up.
The state wide water supply grid has thus emerged as a revolutionary project by the Water Supply
Department of the State. It is recorded as the most outstanding step to deal with providing the basic
necessity of drinking water to the state.

No paid media (that AAPTards will refer and use to bash without knowing facts always) won’t publish this

Gujarat govt sets ball rolling for 22 lakh homes
http://www.dnaindia.com/ahmedabad/report-gujara…

Gujarat government on Wednesday announced four schemes for construction of 22 lakh houses in urban areas
of the state in next five years.

The announcement is being seen as a major step towards construction of 50 lakh houses in next five years – a promise that BJP made in its manifesto in run up to assembly elections last year.

These schemes or housing projects, which are part of ‘Mukhyamantri Aawas Samruddhi Yojna’, include
assistance to build houses for economically weaker sections (EWS) of the society, slum rehabilitation scheme, interest subsidy for EWS and lower income groups (LIG) for private housing, and housing for LIGs.

6

Additionally, in order to plug several loopholes in the existing PNDT Act, the Gujarat High Court formulated directions based upon suggestions from the senior counsel for the government and other parties. The purpose was to keep the concerned DHO in the information loop on pregnancy related diagnostic issues. A gist of the directions being implemented today listed below:
a) Every pregnant woman must be registered with the concerned DHO within two months of pregnancy with a
unique code;
b) The Department of Health must issue pregnant women a ‘Mamta’ card without which diagnostic sonography
would not be conducted;
c) If a pregnant woman is advised to terminate pregnancy after having conducted an authorised diagnostic
sonography, prior permission of the concerned DHO has to be obtained;
d) Within ten days after a diagnostic sonography is conducted, medical practitioners must fill prescribed forms with detailed information on diagnostic sonography and any treatment/operations without disclosing details protected by patient privacy; and
e) The necessary paperwork as prescribed under the PNDT Rules must be submitted by medical practitioners
online, in addition to paper filing.
The Department of Health of the Government of Gujarat was asked to widely publicise these measures so that
citizens of each district could be well-informed. However, there still exist a few ways by which errant medical practitioners have been able to circumvent the system, particularly with technological developments not known at the time this case was initiated in the Gujarat High Court in 2006.
For example, it has been found that, in many cases, illegal practices were conducted over the weekend and
related data was erased from the machines. Since this data can be instantaneously wiped off without a
tangible trace, such information is never included in the filings required under the PNDT Act.
To effectively counter such practices, the government counsel has suggested to me that Rule 3A in the PNDT

Rules can be amended in a manner that any sonography machine imported into India or manufactured in India
has an unerasable hard drive which stores data for the minimum period of two years as prescribed in the PNDT Rules. For existing machines, Gujarat has taken the help of the ‘Silent Observer’ tool developed by IIT graduates that can be attached to sonography machines to monitor activities.
Both the aforementioned roles played by the state and an overall increase in social awareness have resulted in decent improvements in the female-male ratio over the past five to six years in Gujarat. Undoubtedly, the problem, which has permeated itself with collusion at several levels since decades, requires participation from all sections of society such as community and religious leaders, NGOs, alert citizenry and medical professionals, in addition to the state.
But, the beginning has been encouraging and, while, indeed, there is a long way to go, Gujarat continues to strengthen the framework required to effectively monitor the menace of female foeticide.

MODI is not GOD He can only do whatever is possible and such issues are not completely in anybodies hands. Hope people with brain understand this

Under the Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakram (JSSK), launched in June 2011, the state has implemented all the
entitlements (free diet, free drugs and diagnostics, free referral transport to pregnant mothers and their
children upto 1 years) in all the districts.

Gujarat govt gives details of affordable housing policy

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government eventually came out with an affordable housing policy on Thursday. The policy that has come in the run up to the Lok Sabha elections was one of the promises made by the state BJP before the last assembly polls.
The government plans to build 22 lakh new houses in next four years. Anyone having an annual income of Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh will be eligible to buy one or two BHK house in the price range of Rs 3 lakh to Rs 25 lakh.
The policy is to be implemented through public-private partnership. They will develop houses for economically weaker section (EWS) with an annual income below Rs 1 lakh, low income group (LIG) earning between Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh and middle income group earning Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh per annum. The developer can also provide affordable houses on his own land as per government norms.
The policy provides the private developers a floor space index up to 3 for affordable and free sale category. The developers will also be permitted commercial construction up to 10% of project area. There will be no municipal charges for EWS and LIG schemes.
The size of the flat will be defined according to net usable carpet area. For plots on 18-metre wide roads, the permissible building height is up to 45 metres and for plots on 30-metre wide roads, it will up to 70 metres (18 storeys).
The housing schemes will have earthquake-resistant construction. There will be third party inspections at every stage of construction.
The government will arrange for loan facility, along with the developer, for the beneficiaries. They will not be able to sell EWS and LIG houses for seven years while MIG cannot be sold off for five years.
The government has also decided to sign a memorandum of understanding with the central government for merging centrally-sponsored EWS housing scheme with the chief minister’s housing scheme.

Gujarat becomes first to electrify all villages – Economic Times (Mind you, Published back in 2006 itself)
http://articles.economictimes.indiatimes.com/20…
champaner-pavagadh

The story of rural electrification of Gujarat provides a remarkable learning opportunity to other nations and Indian states. Load shedding and power failures are bygone days in Gujarat and unlike any other state Gujarat now provides uninterrupted power supply with no power cuts.

This is attributed to Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s brainchild idea of Jyotigram Project which has multiple impacts. The government has successfully lit the homes with the implementation of Jyotigram Project of 3 phase, 24×7 uninterrupted power supply to all 18,742 villages of Gujarat as well as over 9680 suburbs attached to these villages. This single project brought revolutionary change in the lifestyles and economic pattern of rural Gujarat. Migration of rural to urban is significantly reduced and a new ‘rurban’ (rural+urban) is shaping up. The time bound implementation of the project in 30 months makes Gujarat, the first state in India to achieve 100% electrification in households, commercial establishments and educational institutes across cities and villages in Gujarat.

http://themmindset.wordpress.com/2010/12/03/guj…

Gujarat has topped one more list – Gujarat has the highest number of villages having access to electricity. All the credit goes to the able leadership of Chief Minister Narendra Modi. Gujarat exceeded the number of villages set as target for electrification – 500 by far. In total 1 236 villages now have electricity.

Bihar achieved nearly 60% of the target – 3 841 villages electrified out of 6000. Other states performing better are – Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Haryana, West Bengal and Uttarakhand.

On the contrary Uttar Pradesh, which is strong hold of Congress has largest number of villages with no electricity. Congress has blamed again & again Marendra Modi ji for Gujarat 2002 carnage while neglecting all his achievements.

While Chief Minister Narendra Modi was busy making the lives of Gujaratis better and better Congress was following its age old policy of Muslim appeasement. While Narendra Modi was bringing transparecy in Gujarat Government Congress MLA and MPs were busy doing all the scams – Adarsh Flat Scam in Maharashtra, Scam in Common Wealth Games 2010 and the latest 2G spectrum telecom scam. The recent defeat of Congress in Bihar polls is a tight slap from the voter on its face. Bihar voters have understood the communal, divisive and corrupt nature of Congress and rightly voted in favour of JD-BJP alliance.

Bjp thinks namo is invincible in gujrat as he has won thrice there.
But here is a reality check.
Lalu was invincible in bihar prior to nitish
Sheila was invincible in delhi prior to AAP
left parties were invincible in bengal prior to mamta banerjee..
all of the above won thrice as cm.

The reason for them being hyped as invincible was lack of alternatives.
Lalu was proud of this invincibility due to this factor only.. As soon as a better alternative arrived these people were kicked out.
Similarly modi/ bjp will be kicked out as soon as a better alternative arrives.

I am not sure how many people remember out here for reasons of defeat of bjp in 2004.

bjp was kicked out due to mis-governance , high inflation , nepotism and communalism.

bjp made a high pitched campaign called “india shining” for which they wasted tax payers money and ended up being the butt of joke till 2010.
Bjp has not proved itself to be better than it was in 2004. Congress has detoriated to abysmal levels and in desperation have caught hold of earlier bjp’s strategy (india shining) now named “bharat nirman” and are going to be butt of joke for next 10 years.

Dude, stop posting nonsense links.

Media has exposed the lies of NaMo and you are posting loads and loads of junk. IF any of TOIs claim on unfulfilled promise was fake then , by now Guj Gov would have already dragged TOI to court and TOI would have been forced to offer an apology.

you are not making any point by giving links of BJP Marketing pages.

Satya bhai, you got my full support. Seems SD is swamped by lovers of pappu family and their Congress – k supporters… Last week the nautanki carried out by the shop called aam aadmi party was nothing but a smoke screen to divert attention from the fact that the Kejri had told to some news channels that cwg scam files are being examined… Now he had done nothing and plans to do nothing.

Incidentally all those channels are controlled by Congress … What will the
Kejri do next to divert attention…? Naked hula dance most probably…

I beleive it’s not about Congress/Bjp, more or less they are same. We should choose the party/person which is working for us.

These are my personal views though, but I feel Arvind Kejriwal is doing a good Job. Blame game will never end. I really liked these abt. his govt.

Electricity prices have come down
Making water almost free.
Implementing Jan Lokpal.
Answerable to Public complaints.
Has struggled a lot to reach here. (Not like son of CM/PM)
Making constant visits to Hospitals and Schools for improvement
Audit of Electricity Companies (This may clarify the picture further)
NO DONATION to school admissions

The list goes on… People will find ways to argue here and prove me wrong. But this is what I have seen and trust.
