UBER Query | Distance Surcharge Extra?

Just now I came across an UBER invoice.
Apart from KMs & Minutes, additional charge named Distance surcharge has been added.
Overall it seems that if someone travel for longer duration, then after X kms distance surcharge starts….
Example:
150 Rs (Rs 6 per km X 25 kms)
60 Rs (Re 1 per min X 60 mins)
30 Rs (surcharge on 5 kms)
Seems UBER started pulling money from various charges……
Ye wrong number hey – public ki feerki ley raa hey. Public ko 5 Rs per Km boltaa aur meter may gadbad 
I doubt if this would work, here in India

Oh! Means, Uber will charge more for long distance 
Price you pay for being honest and you start subsidizing those misusing the codes 
distance > 15kms implies long distance
dist surcharge on (total dist – 15) kms
not applicable on airport rides(not sure)
In chennai, The actual fare is only till 15 km. After that per km it will be 12/km.
