For me Cred no longer supports debit cards for payment of CC bill.
Its shows debit cards are not accepted.

That was true till yesterday, for me now not allowing even for Rs 100 now 
Just checked and debit card option is still there.

I just made 5 transactions of 1999 rs ten mins ago via debit card. It’s working fine for me… so far.

Is this step taken for for users who mostly use DC only on cred ? all other users who alternatively use upi,DC and netbanking are left .
Only 0-100000 rs bill payment not allowed with DC . above that it is allowed . still its very bad step taken .
I mostly use net banking, some times for less than 2000 i use dc. Removed for me for unknown reasons.
atleast CRED should give RuPay debit cards option, No MDR charges for RuPay debit cards till FY20.
Rupay cards may not have charge but payment gateway takes their cut. Cred don’t have there own payment gateway.
still there is no better option for credit card payment,atleast cred is giving5-10 Rs per 5 payments for one credit card .

I was always using DCB Bank Debit Card.
Anyways, went to Paytm and made the payment. It was instantaneous to SBI Card!

If you paid via netbanking or upi, are there any other benefit of using PayTM over cred because cred gives some scratch cards for some basic amount.
Cred has been increasingly becoming useless. Over maybe 1-2 more moves, people will delete enmass. But they have got their data and have got their funding so I guess they wont care.

There is no trick. You can try getting old apk and try your luck.
It’s only matter of time this is disabled for all
Now pay through CRED UPI -
Mine also dr card payment is not accepted
Max amount is 2000 only, Try 2000 or less. It’s working for me.
