since last 15 days some or the other song replays in mind continously…unable to sleep or concentrate on anything. almost felt im over. phychistrist has given a sleeping pill and antidepressant pill but im feared to have medicine for brain.

anyone with knowledge and can help me get this healed from root please assist…it will be greatfull

Wow I thought this happens with me only. I don’t know if this is correct but I used to go watch videos in youtube otherwise just play with a tennis ball.

Bro go out for some silent place or hilly areas. Spend some time there…
U will feel relaxed . Dont listen to music. May u get well soon.. stay away from medicine coz u dont have any injury / illness..

Bro I tried staying away from Music, but here and there music is always available. Doctors says it is OCD.

Try NLP, used to do that during my schooling for various other reasons like getting up early during my exam days
It might not work for big things, but it definitely helps for some when u try it before sleep

I met a hypnotherapist and reiki master and was informed the issues are from childhood and it will take many sessions to remove them,but it is very costly

Remember reading somewhere that a song stuck in your head is like an incomplete To-Do task that the brain keeps reminding you of, like a Sticky Note pasted in your head.

One logical way to get that out of the head is to get the incomplete task out of your way.
I.e. Sing the song to its conclusion.

You might want to give it a try.

- Get the full lyrics for the song
- Don’t just read out aloud. Sing it softly in the tune of the song.

Hopefully no one around you catches the song in their head when you are at it. ☺

Learn meditation… it will teach you to control and calm your mind. The beginnings will be difficult, you won’t be able to concentrate but slowly you will improve. Yes it will take time but once you master it, it won’t only help you with this but every aspect of your life.
For meditating, you need to find a place where you find peace. It shouldn’t be dirty and noisy or full of distracts like TV/mobile etc. Some people use a specific music to help them concentrate. You will slowly find what helps you meditate better.
Don’t get disheartened because in the beginning you will be unsuccessful. That’s normal.

Try this.. Wake up early in morning.. Do some exercise. Do some physical work day. Don’t sleep in afternoon. Don’t use much mobile and laptop. Before two hour sleeping don’t use mobile and laptop at all. Try to read some book or magazine before sleep. Keep complete room dark on Windows apply black paper and have good sound sleep.
