go for kaspersky if u have BB at home. Best buy would be on/……. M sorry i guess i dont know were to buy it. I remember SD having them.

Norton is a product of Symantec and trust me NIS is a piece of crap.
I’ll suggest you to download the trial versions and test couple of AVs first before going for the purchase.

Norton make ur system slow as doea KIP. So beware and again i guess norton is more into corporate/business types only….

Actually I wanna go for a better Total Protection whatever its cost will(but 5k is too much for AV )……
If symentac is better than all then i will go for it…. you guyz plzz suggest me a good total protection…

I’ve been using Avast for 2-3 years now and had good experience. I personally, DO NOT RECOMMEND – Symantec, McAfee or AVG. No good experience with them in the recent past. Haven’t tried ESET NOD. My Friends recommend Kaspersky, but haven’t tried either.

Avast! is still the best. Sandbox feature is gr8.

@ smakngi sandbox feature is called in kis as safe run , i had used all of the 15 suites and out of which kis stands out if u really r concerned with security then kis stands out in detections

iam very heavy user nad downloads all stuff almost from new/unreliable sites and kis keeps care of my pc

I think you just need Microsoft Security Essentials.
It is the best and free.

Previous year i purchased &used kis2010 & it slowed down my OS…. so i just used it for only 14days

I think this is not the expert forum to get the opinion. I am sure guys have responded based on their user-experience.
The best thing one should have done is to search Internet (make sure you read the recent articles) and choose the one that fits into your requirements.

kaspersky wins anyday. eset smart security follows. however kaspersky can slow down your system but it’s a deadly software. eset ss is silent and very lite on system but not effective as kis. still both are way much much better than norton or avast or avira or any other crap.
