Klook is very professional website. Booked 2-3 times with them in Singapore, everytime good experience.
In thailand direct rate would be costlier than agent rate. I have used Klook in Thailand and Singapore at the event location. Confirmation was instant or may be 5-10 min max.
I just came back ….. yesterday … Thailand is a cakewalk …
Cool, pen down your memories for others to see and gain
Bhai Thomascook is closed its just Thomascook India is open because its different from Original Thomascook, so try different travel agents as well
1. Buy travel insurance only if you have complications or paranoid. Use online portals to buy one.. for 2-3k approx..
2. Avoid Thomas Cook. They are cooked already. Take Baht if available, nothing like it along with $100 notes. Better exchange in India itself.
3. Play safe
How is Niyo card as it has no markup charges and can load card in INR? Will it work smoothly in Thailand?
Thomas Cook has gone bankrupt I think.
I tried using Klook in Thailand but found that local agents give better rates. Maybe that was off-season trip (April)
Use klook with INR as currency its much cheaper …
I got dinner cruise 1799/-
whereas in THB its 950 … that makes it 2300.
Few Suggestions::
1-Go with Travel Insurance ( Iffco, religare, etc.) All gives Approx 30-40% commission to us (to Travel Agent )
2- Use any Local Forex company and carry receipt along with Money.. change is into THB or USD.. an Immigration Officer may ask how much cash THB/USD you are carrying. (Need to have min 500USD in hand as a Show Money or Carry Credit Card/Debit Card with international transactions enabled.
3-Yes, always remember : Do not walk alone on roads in late night hours. Do not hire tuk tuk in night hours, don’t even ask for fare. Do not argue with local thai peoples. Do not give original Passport to anyone, keep it safe. Do not keep much cash with you at a time. Do not enter into shabby, cornered pub,bars..not even for food. Local Thai people may come to you with some irresistible offers, deny with smile.
Couldn’t understand commission in the 1st point. Can you please explain?
If you are from mumbai, i can help..
hotel stay options ?? frm where to book ? any offers ?
Any idea if visa on arrival fee waiver is applicable or not if I enter before 31oct but exit in Nov 2019 ?
anyone willing to share klook referral code ?
..
No need travel insurance for a week unless you have major complications. Better to get a niyo card rather than trying currency exchangers. Always commute through trusted sources rather than tuk tuk or the long vehicle. Visit places like Krabi, Phuket Bangkok(offcourse it will be in your list) and Pattaya .
