Jio is best .No one will give 1 yr free then 3 months for 309 then again for 399
Do add recharge plan and then compare.

I dont know about you, but that speed was obly for 3 months then speed came drastically down! i used to just get 300Kbps something, comparing it with BSNL which is offering 3gb per day and for 3 months it is just crap
BSNL gives me around 6Mbps anytime and voda 3G 2-3Mbps.,Jio is just crap now. If you all are just for free stuff then you can opt for it.

When I first purchased JIO, speeds were consistent and damn fast.

BAND 3 – 11-15 Mbps
BAND 5 – 30 Mbps
BAND 40 – 50-56 Mbps

However speeds now are worst, even we can’t play a 2 videos on hotspot on medium quality. Also internet slows down when someone is using call feature.

I expected JIO would make necessary adjustments/improvement to tackle large user growth.

For some time, I would be shift to Vodafone cool packs https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif

Why should one be worried/think about how many users are with the network provider?
We are paying for a service and we MUST get good service. The load issue, user base issue, network issue etc. etc. is headache of the service provider and now the customer.

Why should we have sympathy with them when we are paying for services?

one year back everybody was looting us.. docomo 1gb 3g 195rs, airtel 250rs, vodafone 250rs, idea – 199.. how all network providers are providing dialy 1gb, 2gb now https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_rolleyes.gif

we have to appreciate JIO, because of them all companies stopped looting us.

I appreciate Mukesh Ambani for what he did for the Indian mobile consumers. In 2001, I used to pay Rs.12 per minute on airtime to Airtel. Calling charges to PSTN number extra. If it was an STD call, it used to be Rs.48 (2 sec pulse @ 1.20/pulse) plus Rs.12 i.e. Rs.60 per minute. Mukesh announced RIM on 28th Dec 2002 and the call rates came crashing down. Then the mobile companies started looting on data. Still, as a CDMA consumer, I paid much less, Rs.999 per month for 20 GB EVDO data, without any daily FUP. Then Jio was launched and data rates in general came down. That said, I still miss my RCom EVDO and still enjoy my MTS EVDO, where services are still available.
As of now, I have Jio 4G, RCom 4G and Airtel 4G (corporate connection). Between the 3, RCom 4G right now has best consistent speeds. Around 8-9 Mbps. RCom uses the old CDMA spectrum for 4G on Band 5 which is also shared by Jio in most places. But strangely at the same spot, RCom speeds are much faster than Jio. Do not have Voda or Idea 4G, so can not comment on them.

This morning only i tested RCOM 3G speed – 4-6 Mbps https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_biggrin.gif
However network is damn bad @ my new place, only front room catches network, earlier I used RCOM atleast for 3+ years with full 6-7Mbps with plans like Rs.56/month – truly unlimited, speeds were always good.

Now would shift to RCOM 4G https://cdn3.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_cool.gif

Just now published post relating to Reliance 4G https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif
