Vodafone Balance Deduction Issue Keep on going.. Any solution ?

Hello friends, My primary vodafone number Main balance is being deducted on every 3-5 days randomly for Rs.21- Rs.99 (without any sms notification for deduction too).. Infact im not using any data on it and using only for calls.
Deactivated all VAS, changed sim in another mobile but no use.
They’re saying im clicked to flash msg/ads. flushed rage
I don’t know why this keep on happening .. complaining to them will benefit only refund of deducted balance but the issue not solved permanently. I need to keep on checking up my balance always rolleyes

Anybody facing/faced same situation and got any permanent solution ? (Not interested in switching to Bsnl and Jio)

Ask them to blacklist your number for VAS.

Yes done that too.. and they said it will be valid for only six months.. but after blacklisting the 2nd day my balance again got deducted and still continues.

pensive. Then nothing can be done. Let them drain your balance. Try to deactivate every service which they activate everyday. Keep a screenshot of both activation and deactivation SMS. After your balance reaches to 0. Ask them refund for all your deductions. sunglasses

Highlight of this issues is im not getting any sms from them for the deduction.. im keep on finding deduction based on manual checking-up on daily basis.. Moreover they won’t refund a VAS deduction after 7 days from the day of activation.

Last option. better to activate any Unlimited pack rather than keeping the balance. If there is no balance, then there would be no deductions.

Chill bhai .
They have to pay hefty amount of money which they avoided for years.
So they are snatching it from you and others, avoiding your/there complaints.

I faced this same issue few months ago. 1st time they deducted 99rs which was refunded after visiting their vodafone store. 2nd time they deducted 21rs but they never refunded it.
After that it stopped. But the crazy thing is that the balance deduction sms I received was in the name of Reliance Communications.
Anyways here’s what I did that helped me, usually after checking the Vodafone balance by dailing 111# or *121# I would get these flash messages of the 149 offer or 199 offer or 299 offer and below these flash messages there would be an “OK” button, *never click the “OK” button. Either hit the back button or click anywhere else on the screen but never click the “OK” button.

Ya im doing this as well from the last 1 week after investigating all deduction are related to flash and 1 time downloadable content ! Today deducted rs.99 again cry (got refund after talking to CC twice)
Even i have blacklisted VAS option and Flash content by contacting CC.

Which mobile phone you are using. I too have Vodafone from many years never faced this unnecessary deductions. No flash message ever popped up. Using certain Chinese apps may also contribute to this as like uc browser show ads which on click accidentally activate paid service.

I thought of accumulating balance during offers to attempt self recharge from main balance later.. !
But Vodafone doing worst deducting activity, Airtel is far better.. atleast they’re making bad policies/plans openly without these cheap activity ( As per my opinion)

Happens to me as well.
Deductions are common for everyone I believe.
It’s Either ₹21, ₹23 or ₹99.
No matter what you do voda deducts balance because they have coded in their backend systems like that also taking advantage from customers because nowadays due to unlimited plans hardly anyone checks their main account balance.
Cheap thing is they won’t even send a confirmation message as well.
This is 100% fraud.
Only turnaround is to check My Vodafone app atleast once a day so that in the homepage you can check your main account balance as well as the internet data.
The Internet data deduction is also total fraud. For 700 MB of usage they deduct 1.4 GB.
Crap people and then they come up with sayings like “We are happy to help you”

I am facing same problem. And I lost 500+ and they are not even refunding my money.
I was using in dogee max 3 Chinese phone so itight be the reason I thought. But after putting SIM in 2g phone also it is happening and they are saying u downloaded some thing. Maybe it is done to generate revenue

Some people reported that using their application can result in unknowingly using premium services (content download) or activation of VAS (unknowingly).

I am currently unable to recall the dedicated number to call, for requesting to stop VAS.

(and SMSing STOP to 5933503 should stop the on-screen flash messages/ advertisements that they themselves send 🤯despite complete DND being active😠)
