We all know how much dirt Airtel, Vodea keep on their pockets and can stoop to any low level. The latest is by Vodafone not sure by Idea though.
If your Vodafone number don’t have incoming facility and somebody calls you then caller will be charged as Vodafone diverting call to a chargeable number to get IUC of 6p/min
Few days back I called my own Voda number from BSNL and it said, “Services to this number are temporarily suspended.” It was 12 seconds call and 1 minute was reduced from my BSNL balance of 250 mins which means call is diverting to tolled number. If it has incoming facility then you wont get charged. Once incoming ends, call divert auto happens on all Voda sims.
I called Vodafone after that to get it cancelled but they denied any such thing. You can’t even check the diverted number as they disable USSD once your incoming facility stops.
Mota bhai sahi hai. Yeh IUC ke khel mein choro ki tarah Jio ko loot rahe hai yeh. BSNL toh lootney ke baad bhi protest nahi karta. Airte, Vodea ne landline pe calls block kar rakhi hai mobile se because IUC is zero to landlines and from landlines.

this means they are blocking the call to landline
Even im not getting any dial tone for some landline numbers and getting disconnected always in Idea network.
To be honest i am not surprised. I kind of expect these cheap and sneaky tactics from them. If they don’t apply any cheap trick and play fair like JIO then that will be surprising.
Where and what the hell is doing TRAI?
These companies are trying every cheap practice to loot the customers and nothing is done by TRAI…

the issue is with BSNL not Voda. The deduction is made by BSNL. It is considering the Voda IVR response as a call.
What you think I won’t check it myself before posting here. Got charged in Airtel too @ 2.5p/s as no plan there besides 23 plan. Called from a Jio number and checked statement, it was 10 second call. 
Once incoming validity ends they divert the call as I can see the divert icon after inserting Voda sim.
