Vodafone postpaid bill international roaming

My friend is using Vodafone postpaid while Ii Bree atonal roaming and have got bill of 80K against data charges while in roaming. whereas postpaid credit limit is only approx 8K.
any suggestion on how to overcome this loss ?

International billing is not instant but done later, hence it’s possible to have usage beyond credit limit. Also having 8k credit limit does not mean that you won’t be allowed usage beyond 8k.

Any resolution to this? This is why I use flat rates or prepaid cards. Far safer even if it costs more. Who would ever use postpaid plans for something like international roaming.
