Vodafone prepaid datapack balance carry forward?

If I recharge datapack before the current datapack expires, will the remaining data balance be carried forward and added with new balance?
I know this works on Airtel but not sure about Vodafone. VF cc is saying it will be carried forward but can’t trust them.
