vodafone sim replacement charges free?

I had my phone stolen recently which had 2 sims in it jio and vodafone .i blocked both the numbers within few hours over call.for jio sim replacement it was free whereas for vodafone they charged me 50 rs, i went to Vodafone store for replacement.in the sim card cover it is written no charges towards sim so does anyone know is the sim card replacement truly free and have i been duped by them? @androgame @Roushh @A2Zdeals

I have been charged Rs75. I asked them to deduct from balance and they did the same. Even I have confirmed from customer care about the charges and it was really Rs75 at that time.
+1 RS 75 for idea 1 year back
ok then i will also call the vodafone customer care and ask them regarding current charges.also then why do they mention on sim card cover that the sim is free of charges? .maximum 5 rs for activation and such if they do not follow such things
there is replacement charges, if anyone is doing it for free then the person is bearing loss

Ask for an invoice/bill from them. If they don’t, then something is fishy.
Actually it should be free only (at Vodafone stores) and payable in retailer shops (10-50 rs)
Paid 10rs in retailer shop for 4g sim upgrade 5 months back.
Paid 100 one week back at Vodafone mini store
Jio charged 30₹ yesterday for the same
Mini store/retailer shop charges up to 100. Once I paid 100 in mini store. One have to look for official showrooms.

Yes, vodafone charges some fee. My father’s phone was stolen last year and he also paid 50 rs at Vodafone store. And by looking at comments, sometimes they charge and sometimes they don’t.
You should feel good at least they didn’t charge you more like others they paid 75 or 100.
It’s actually free..they are randomly charging the amount..last year Airtel was also asking me 50 RS but then i demanded to know where it says that new sim is chargeable and I need invoice. They were unable to do and so , I did not gave any money

Free at co owned store. Paid at franchise n retail shop.
This is for all 4 airtel, jio , idea n voda.
Don’t Say New Sim Or Replacement Sim.
Ask For Upgrade 4G Sim 
4G Sim Is Free And Can Be Used In Any Device.
Today I visited Vodafone store, Aurangabad, cannought place, due to volte network problem, purchased new SIM, but vodaphone representive taken Rs-75, asked for recept but not provided received reply to contact on vodaphone customer care for the query about SIM charges.
I don’t have time, hence given Rs-75.
All top network provider providing free SIM,why Vodafone charging for the old customer?

Sim upgrade Free hota hai Bhai and replacement charge is minimal you should have made video of charging and have asked gst invoice too
