Want to use IOS FOR THE FIRST TIME

Which iPhone are you buying under 10k? iPhone 3gs or 4?

Anyway, here is the thing. You have 2 choices here. You can either buy a slow and outdated iPhone for 10k or you can buy a faster, powerful and latest Android phone for the same price. What would you do?

iPhone SE is decently capable even now but one would be choosing that if and only if they are desperate to try iOS. It’s a pretty old device but has a capable processor even by current standards. Keep one thing in mind, like it or not, we got quite accustomed to large screens and it would be a pain to type on small screens now.

iOS has it’s own set of advantages but you can truly appreciate it (being a first time user) only when you have a decent device to begin with and not such a dated model. I suggest bumping up your budget and get at least an iPhone 7 if feasible else get the iPhone SE.

Set a realistic expectation though. What you have to judge about the OS is the tight integrations of apps and features, app store and the app catalogue quality, app usability and that’s it. Most other features are long term and are ecosystem features (software update, communication with other apple devices such as macbook etc, security, family sharing, file sharing between iOS devices) etc which cannot be made use of to the full potential without other Apple devices around (either iPhones or macbooks or airpods or ipads or whatever).

Things to keep in mind when coming from Android. There are no custom roms and hardly any customisation options compared to Android (but hey, things just work in the most optimum way, iOS is made in such a way that you can just start using it without worrying about customisation), can’t load pirated apps, you will find some wonderful apps but will be paid apps etc.

if have budget then go for iPhone X or else use android only
