What are you thinking right now?

= A powerful story I heard long time back. Here is my version… for Dimers =

A son came home and took his father to a restaurant for an evening dinner.

They have never been to this posh place before. So they arrived early and started eating.

But there was a problem.

Father was old and weak.

With his hands shaking all the time.

So he dropped small parts of food on his shirt and old pant. Other people watched it with disgust.

Father realises what’s going on and says to his son: “Sorry son as I am embarrassing you in front of everyone!"

Son, who was calm all the time, immediately stood up and goes near his dad.

Kneels.

And wipes all the food particles with his bare hands.

Combs his hair.

Adjusts his glasses.

And whispers in his ears: “Dad, I am always with you!"

Son settles the bill, they finish their food, and walk away.

As they are doing that, another old man stops the son and says:

“You have left something behind…"

Son: “What is it uncle?"

Old man: “A lesson for EVERY son and HOPE for every father!"

Everyone in the restaurant starts applauding. It was a moment of joy. A true lesson worth remembering.

So as we enter Independence Day today, dear dimers, it is time that you create your our own lesson – and choose what’s important in life.

If you like someone – do something about it.

If you want something – do something about it.

Whatever it is, use today to think. About life. And people around you.

And find out how you can make their life sweeter.
