What happens to my current unlimited plan in Airtel prepaid if I recharge again before the expiry date?

As per my knowledge, The higher pack(validity wise) becomes default and lower get void without any refund. This was said to me by local recharge shop owner.

I am confused . Because before I recharge I checked the my airtel app it was showing data balance for today was 900 MB/ 1.4 GB .

After recharge it is showing 1.4GB/1.4GB data balancr and validy is same as before till 6th sep.

It should atleast show the 82 days validy of 499 pack.

looks like the 499 plan is in queue . After old plan expire it should activate from that day.

Call CCare they will confirm what happened to your pack..
The Airtel’s balance / validity / STV / recent deductions etc using ussd/app is not up-to-date some of this doesn’t even show up on app.

I recharged today for 448 pack and my expiry was in 3 days. After recharge it is now showing 85 days, which means 82 days have been added after the expiry of 3 days. So in airtel, I guess, it has now started to start the new pack after the expiry of old.
P.S. I have always maintained the same recharge pack of 448. So better to recharge with the same pack which you are using currently. Not sure if changing the pack will start immediately or get extended.

Nope and its waste to recharge twice because its not refundable.

you’ll be fine… your new recharge pack will start when your current pack ends.
I did the same mistake last night… so I checked my upcoming pack info, it says my new pack will start on Feb(when my current pack ends)

but i want to start it now. even if i have to drop my current plan. for airtel

Sir hai tis is suresh bare i recharged already on20th april2020 one month pack 249/- but i did mistake todsy 22-04-2020 mrng i again recharged 249/- so plz supporr next month this pack attached plz solve this is issue i requested

I bymistakely recharger twice on my same airtel number ..that is 259 done twice on the same existing plan….is my money waste or this will start once one plan is expired??

Yes it’s possible for upcoming plan in Airtel prepaid recharge. I have Airtel prepaid plan of 219 with 5 days validity, and I recharged again with rs 598 plan. Now my old plan activated for 5days and new 598 plan showing upcoming plan. So thanks Airtel for such good service like jio
