So, lately I’ve been reading lot of people bitching about Amazon cs. 3 months back I faced an similar issue with fk while my genuine claim was rejected after 2 months of follow-up.

Is amazon turning out like fk? Or they are taking this as an precaution to prevent further losses?

CS personnel in many e-commerce sites is extremely poor, unsmart, under-educated academically, lack in field knowledge and common sense, over-burdened due to cost cutting. Once in a while we do get a good, satisfactory and quick response and resolution, but on the whole, they need much improvement. The companies must give them good training and have good supervisors and feedback mechanism in order to gain trust of customers and gain market. They must remember that trust once broken for just one customer is sufficient to lose not only that customer for life but also many others he or she is linked to. At least I follow this principle – if you break my trust and don’t understand your problem or compensate me even in a small way, I’d leave you forever.

Amazon for me is still the most customer-friendly e-commerce out there.
Sure they are adapting to Indian marketplace a bit, their policies are getting a bit stricter.
Just today had an issue with a return pickup from by bluedart. their guys came yesterday and took the pickup yet i still got call from them today for pickup when i told them that it was picked yesterday. He said okay and ended the call.
Now here is the fun part, few minutes after the call they had marked the return pickup cancelled by phone ( supposedly from user’s end)
I call their cc and the cc executive was adamant on blaming me even though I recognised the bluedart guy as he delivered two orders just a day before yesterday. She kept telling me that it was somehow my fault and I should contact whoever I gave the courier to. She implied if you dont have bluedart return slip then you might as well forget your shipment.The guy dint have any bluedart slip on him neither it was mentioned in return instructions by amazon.
Although I did ask the guy to sign the Amazon return acknowledgement slip.

Now this was the awful response i got from blue dart.

On the other hand, Amazon refunded my money right away without even waiting for any sort of confirmation from courier end.
Their flexible return policy and good cc service( most of the times ) are unmatched, well at least for me.
Flipkart doesn’t even allow return for clothes/shoes just exchanges. How the hell are you supposed to judge a style/fit just from pictures.

Long time since products got delivered by 3rd party logistics.

Seems like the delivery guy didn’t send acknowledgement to the product you returned.
