What will the world be like after coronavirus pandemic gets over?

Some believe the pandemic is a once in a generation chance to remake society and build a better future.
Others fear it may only make existing injustices worse.
natural world has continued to rumble on, and even shown signs of benefiting from our absence due to lockdown.

What will happen when this pandemic gets over ?

Below are some thoughts of mine :
Social distancing may become part of our life till herd immunity becomes reality.
Secret bunkers may become part of many houses.
India will emerge as alternate manufacturing destination.
Work from home may become new office for many people.

Can we go back to normal ? Or Are we heading towards WWIII ?
How will coronavirus change the world ? What do yo think ?

I like the first line you wrote.

I hope we learn from this pandemic the key things it taught us that although the doors remained closed we opened our hearts for help and unity.

1. We need each other’s support as a community
2. Nature can revive if given a chance

Nothing will change. Human is too greedy to change. They will go back doing what they were doing. Crime, no humanity, damage to nature. You can expect some to change but majority will go to where they were.
Only thing we can do from our side is to change for good and teach our near ones for the same.

For the last 500 years, every 100 years or so, a pandemic comes. Thousands die. Then life again gets back to normal.

use of sanitizer will be part of normal life. most of the people didn’t know what is sanitizer before Corona.

Process of automation will fasten leading to more job cuts. AI & robots don’t fall prey to Corona, don’t go on strikes & are easier to replace.

“The human cost is the most tragic aspect of this crisis, not only in terms of the lives lost, but also the number of livelihoods at risk"

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/mar/30/b... https://www.controleng.com/articles/manufacture...

COVID-19 will herald an automation boom The pandemic has sent millions home and out of work. Some of those jobs will be given to robots.

But the bigger lasting change from the pandemic will likely involve the wider use of artificial intelligence to handle tasks currently performed by human beings, experts said.

Telstra, for instance, which was already planning to slash customer service calls by two-thirds by 2022, now intends to accelerate its use of AI. “(We) will be using this as an opportunity to further digitise and automate our business,” CEO Andy Penn told The Sydney Morning Herald this month.

The “onshoring” of jobs and the increased use of AI will have a big impact on countries that for years have benefitted from taking on the back-office operations of multinationals. India, in particular, was a trailblazer. As of 2017, the industry employed nearly four million Indians and raked in revenues of more than $150 billion, according to trade body NASSCOM.

These are my thoughts on how this Corona is going to change the world:

1. The world is not going to change at all. The moment this is over, everything will be back at normal. The same corruption, same crooked politicians and their propaganda laden brainwash etc. will continue to thrive. Even during this pandemic we are observing govt’s persistence over some garbage app amongst other things.

2. Due to the abovementioned reason, society is not going to see any betterment, unfortunately.

3. I sincerely hope social distancing becomes more popular amongst people. But that’s not gonna happen. This is India. Social distancing will never work here.

4. Work from home might be offered by companies or at least considered given what the world just experienced and how much loss a few companies are going through.

5. I am not sure whether India will emerge as a manufacturing hub. This will succeed or fail depending on govt’s policies. If we do though, that will be the best thing goes without saying.

6. Can we go back to normal? I am not even sure. We will go back to normal the moment a vaccine comes, no doubt. But this is basically WW III man, so I am not expecting a war anytime soon, not in my lifetime I think.

At this point, we should be focusing on social distancing, home quarantine etc., keep our mental health most importantly and just hope a vaccine comes, sooner the better. What is going to happen afterwards is really unimportant now.

Good share bro. plus1
I just thought point 1 and 6 are contrasting.
Imagine we have vaccine, would you allow people to go back to normal ?
I mean virus will be there in people and around 80% cases are asymptomatic.
How you will make sure that there will be no one infected?

Now a days people are start to avoid Chinese products even more than before due to some situation during covid. So it’s a good start to introduce more make in India products.

At least a portion of peoplehave learned social distancing, usage of sanitizer and personal hygiene is more important than anything else.
