I have hdfc card and I’m trying to place order for poco priced at 15999. But the order gets placed before payment step. Payment step comes placing order where it shows full amount. if I enter card details at this step, will i not get charged full amount of 15999 and not the discount price? It is a little confusing.
.
Can someone who has bought from mi confirm?

HDFC is the only card I have. Can’t buy from Amz/Fk.
I thought payment via card didn’t require otp and whole amount will be deducted right away.

any instant disount applicable applies after entering card details. Enter card details and it should show discount, beisdes you need to provide otp to place order. Disable sms access to app if you are ordering via app.

Looks like you are new to cards/online purchases.
Be careful do not share OTP or card details.
Only international txns do not need OTP

@caks2006407 Not new. Closed my accounts with ICICI and Axis few years ago, including all credit cards. Don’t like having too many accounts and cards unnecessarily. Been shopping online since 2003. Anyway.
Thanks for the tip.
