I have shifted my house and left my old airtel SD connection including set top box and dish at old house which is in different city. So now I have to get a new connection. I have a full HD TV, so am thinking of getting a HD connection time. Can fellow dimers pls help me in finding a good dth provider and also a deal on the subscription. I don’t mind going for annual subscription if I am getting a good deal.

If u r switching for lowest pack .. then better go for free dth… Thats better if u just watch news… 
go for reliance digital tv, for Rs.350/- pack per month they have all channels with sports.

Go for any DTH which is offering cheap plans except Airtel DTH.

BTW don’t buy reliance digital TV.
Very less number of channels, no availability of HD box.( CC always say that they don’t have HD box in stock now. 
)
While others have around 35 HD channels Reliance has only around 10.
And they have only 5 million subscribers since December 2015.

I have gone through the links provided by you, and each post us suggesting different provider. Go for Tatasky. Subscriber from 6-7 years. Good customer service. Recharges are flexible (you can recharge with almost any amount, which is not possible on DishTv. They have many offers running most of the time. Get it from ebay @12% discount. Search DD for discount coupons.

Thanks bro.. Am seeing the best offer on eBay on tatasky is for Rs 4850 for HD box with 1 yr dhamaal mix and 1 yr HD access.. I think there is a 12% code floating on dd which ppl r selling for Rs 50..so final price will come to around 4300..is this a good deal? And 1 more question I have is that is HD access really for 12 months, as some of the comments on amazon for similar deals mentioned that seller cheated and free HD access is only for 1 month and then Tata sky charges 150 rupees extra pm.

If you watch channels of discovery networks, NatGeo, Vh1, star sports, MTV, then I recommend Tatasky as in Dhamal cricket pack(300 monthly) you will get all these channels. Also you will surely get many packs for Rs. 1 in Jingalala Saturdays. I personally don’t like regular packs of distv and more over you can’t recharge DishTv for any amount you want i.e. 200,400 or 600.You have to recharge with fixed denominations. Compare these things with your needs and chose which one is best for you. But I strongly recommend to get TATASKY.

if i buy dd box then cn i use it with airtel antenna(chatri) or do i need to buy both
I use Tata Sky HD and happy with that. 8.5K for the annual Platinum HD pack + cost of the Set top box. Just chill and watch Comedy central
