Cable tv is cheaper but I noticed there is very much difference in quality and sound of a SD/HD channel of cable and DTH. ( Talking about GTPL cable, can’t say same foe every cable)

So,

If you want cheap then—→ Cable TV
If you want better quality—→DTH

If you want good picture and audio quality , then go with D2H
purchase it online via ebay.in
I would suggest wait for few days as new discount coupons will be sent to registered mails and then you can good amount of discount if you purchase new connection with 6months/1yr package.

Base pack generally starts from rs 210 to 250 + taxes
After that you can choose some Add-On packs like sports, kids, movies etc.
You can choose single channels also
Some DTH even offering ‘make my pack’ under that you can make your own pack.

I recommend you to visit any nearby shop where all DTH available, and inquire there. You will get better idea.

There is not much difference of price so choose DTH that provides good service in your locality. Mostly people suggest to go with Tata sky or Videocon d2h. https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif

How? Do you live in a bus stand/railway station or a tv showroom?

Like TV showroom all TVs must be having same channel if turned on same time.

Also depends on your location. DTH is really problematic in coastal areas. DTH stops functioning when its about to start raining. Something to do with ionosphere. So if you are at a place where it rains regularly, stay with cable.
