Then DBS too. 7 > 6 > 4
rbl bank. highest interest rate on FD
my Nova Scotia account closed few years bank.
it was a charm doing any business with them. the professionalism and courteous responses even in panicky times.. only matched by the erstwhile ANZ Grindlays
most of these newage Indian banks just do not make the cut.
sometimes even the experience they bring off their so called ‘senior citizens’ desks or whatever ‘privilege’ or ‘premier’ relationship desks.. too is comparable only to the State Road Transport buses plying in deep hinterland.
indeed Yes Bank and J&K Bank are amongst the small (branches wise) but personalised service kind of places.
amongst the foreign banks with presence in India, Citi and HSBC still give that extra attention to detail when required.
BoM (Bank of Maharashtra) and BoB amongst PSUs are turning a new leaf after trying to infuse some modern systems and the marketing efforts to shake off the old image.

and thank you for your feedback, but today there were hardly any times when error 500 or server not available came to you, so we doubt that the reason is from server side. But we will investigate the issue by this week-end.
It is okay Sir, please do not be sorry and you definitely do not have to say so.
I did not repeat or try to save the comment more thann once Sir. in-fact time stamp on both these posts shows same and that is why i felt that there might be a temporary site outage and the old data/command got captured twice on the server side itself.
Thank you for taking your time to respond.
no idea about private sector but have banked extensively with sbi . boi . ubi . canara bank , uco bank , etc.
only found the ubi to be decent
The banch that I go to is crowdless most of the times and it takes me a minute maximum to get any issue solved
They have automated machine for passbook printing and cash deposit that most of the customers are reluctant to use and thus are free for use most of the times
since my account is a student’s account there is no minimum account restriction ; and I can make unlimited transactions on ATM , debit card and netbanking
services like imps and neft are free as well
most of the things are automated [ from ordering passbook . cheque books , duplicate atm cards to reseting mpin , atm pin etc etc etc ] everything in online and the only reason I visit the branch is to deposit cash
DBS
Digibank by DBS.
Search on this forum and You will get to know numerous benefits of having a Savings account with them!
P.S. I am not taking sides, but sharing a fair view as per my understanding.
Reasons –
Good Customer Care: An automated customer help link in App itself. Solves most problems. Else contact them and they respond real fast
Good returns or CB ? 5% cashback upto 10k and 10% cb above 10k on most e-commerce sites! [unique]
Good Interest ? 6%
Fast and Secure ? Awarded safest bank award. Singapore company. Very secure app. Doesn’t even work on rooted devices.
Others ? Targeted to Youth and hence useful offers keep coming. And there are absolutely no charges for debit card/ IMPS etc.
Not to forget use ATM at any ATM machine without extra charges.
they have DBS account and Digibank account, whats the difference between these two ?

Zero charge. (any atm, any number of times) just like Yes Bank
Limit is like any other Savings bank account 25k. (Ofcourse if you have amount in your account)
LIMITATION : You can load money to accounts through NEFT/ Debit card etc. So basically this cannot be your only bank account.
Maybe in future they allow,
Banking is not just interest rates. The services also matter. Particularly as one grows up in life and has fewer and fewer time for personal work.
In terms of ease of online usage, ICICI is the best. A single portal takes care of Savings, Deposits, Credit Cards, Demat, Insurance, Loan servicing and even third party payments. I am using ICICI Bank for last 16 years. In these 16 years, I have visited the branch only 7-8 times, out of which 3 times was for change of address. Practically everything is possible online only. ICICI was also the first bank to offer digital banking service (B2 banking) in 2007.
In terms of interest, old account holders like me have the benefit of Quantum Optima, where amount in excess of Rs.10000 (in multiples of Rs.5000) gets auto converted into 1 year FD. In case of requirement the newest FD gets auto reversed back to the account without any penalty. While this facility had been withdrawn from 2004 for normal accounts, it is still available for B2 Accounts.

+1 I agree. I am an HDFC Preferred customer with a personal relationship manager assigned for my help.
And I am happy with the services.
But for youth with little money, Digibank makes more sense.
Isn’t this same as money multiplier account the only difference being 5000 in multiples in case of 10000 and that too a floating balance.
Kotak Bank
