Why 2.2 Litre Varicor (Tata) or mHawk(Mahindra) Engines produce 140 BHP but 2.0 Litre Vw Engines Produce 190 BHP
as i know i have to ask this question in team-bhp, but poor moderator not allowing to even open account there.
Now come to point :
Varicor (Tata) , mHawk(Mahindra) use 2.2 litre (~2200 cc) diesel engines in their suv its BHP is ~140, but audi 2.0 Litre (~2000 cc) TDI engine bhp is 190 BHP.
Every time, Audi or Volvo, bmw, mercedenz cars overtake me in no time and disappear (already i am in 140 kmph +)
200 CC lower than varicor/mHawk, but still its BHP is very high, how ?? why Tat, mahindra dont have these type of engines like Germans (Volvo from sweden though..) have ??
its just a curiosity, difference is huge, now mahindra with Xuv and Tata with Hexa is improved a lot in design, even Hexa is one step upward, range rover without air suspension, powerful engine and few fancy features omitted = hexa, but XUV and Hexa fail in one category and not able to compete with german rivals is engine.
