He is not showing the correct picture of his indirect taxes. People with business show most of their personal expenses (food etc for sure) as their business expense and reduce their income correspondingly there by reducing the tax they have to pay.
This is unlike what a salaried person who pays for his income and then again pays for his expenditure.. #ThisSucks
If everyone tried to act smart like Trump then the tax percent will keep on creeping up if every one paid their taxes correctly tax percentage might even get lower.
This is just a notion. One of the major commodity that hits a common man is Petrol/Diesel/Gas Taxes.
Well then a thief also have a logic like , I have a family of 10 to feed or want to have a lavish life and I’m not interested to do anything, so I’ll just steal from someone.

You can get motivated by whoever you like. It’s upto an individual if he wants to be a thief or a better person. I’m not saying we are not having problems with taxes and their spending but avoiding taxes in the name of those not paying is just being silly. You can be what you want to be and make sure you are happy with those decisions. After all that’s what we are living for whether ambani or a beggar.

And in which country do you think they spend properly? Nobody likes paying taxes and don’t find the reasons to avoid
Dear Mr. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Obeisance.
My name is Prasad. I run a small Industry at Balanagar in Hyderabad. Earn about 2 lakhs per month income, that is 24 Lakhs per year. But honestly, I should pay at least 3 Lakhs per year (excluding deductions) as income tax. But I pay just 30 thousand Why? I was born in an ordinary middle class family. I saved every nickel and worked hard to come to this position. Out of two lakhs earnings, a lakh would be spent on my family. The other one lakh on investments in Gold & Land. I spent almost 30 thousand rupees to the government in the form of indirect taxes taxed on Groceries to TVs to Mobiles, any thing you buy need to pay 20 to 30 percent tax. If I spend 3000 on liquor parties with friends then I pay 60% tax to government. Petrol taxed at 30 rupees per liter. If you buy the car, all taxes comes to 1.5 lakhs. To buy land for home, need to pay 1 lakh as registration charges.
